Very interesting website. Seems to be quite comprehensive. I hope its accurate. I've done a few searches so far and it seems to be in line with my expectations except for price of city center real estate in Korea vs. Japan. I wonder if that's a mistake.

FACTORS TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING A COUNTRY

That is what I'm trying to do with this thread. The idea is, we will collect a list of all the types of information we should collect about a country we are considering (cost of living, male/female ratio, laws in the country, any other statistical information). Then, in this thread we will post any and all useful links to that information.

Thanks! Those are two good resources!

it's not a bad idea to get a business visa for that country. You don't need a business visa for

Yes, thanks for pointing that out. That is one of the things I'll need to consider. I'll need to find a way to live there permanently so I have to show them that I'm supporting myself.

@ TO ALL

I'm adding:

28. Percentage of Blondes
29. Process to get Business Visa
30. Life Expectancy

to the list of Factors to Consider When Choosing a Country.

Also, I think we should try to find links to information on each of the factors. Please let me know if you find any useful links that we can add to this thread!

1. Average Height of Men

http://forums.interbasket.net/f10/avera ... ated-9287/

2. Per Capita GDP

3. Adjusted Per Capita GDP (adjusted for factors such as outright ownership of land)

4. Percent of single women who are mothers.

5. Percent of women who are obese

6. Male / Female Ratio

This lists 15-64. I'd preferably like one that is 20 to 39 if anyone can find such a list.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_co ... _sex_ratio

7. Do most of the women want player type men or provider type men?

8. Are the women financially dependent on the Men?

9. Do the people in that country dislike your race or nationality? Like a Jew should not go to Egypt.

10. How educated are the women?

11. What is the predominant religion?

12. Are the people very religious or is the society secular?

This lists the percentage of people who attend church:

13. Is Pro Legal?

14. Is it easy to get a visa?

15. How long does it take to get residency?

17. Cost of Living

18. Average looks of men in the country. If the men are good looking, the competition is greater.

19. Average looks of women in the country.

20. If the country is multiracial, what race is in highest demand? If the women you want are scarce and in high demand, then the country might not be a good choice.

21. Percent White, Black, Asian, Mestizo. Obviously, you want to go to a country where the women are the type you like.

This gives a hint by telling the percentage of each ethnic group but doesn't say what race the ethnic group is:

22. How easy is it to learn the language?

23. Is it legal to work remotely, that is for a US business while living there? What kinds of permits are needed?

I forgot about these sites. I use these too:

CIA Factbook:

Male to female ratios, HIV/AIDS stats and other statistics like GDP, birth rate, literacy, etc.

Xpatulator

Another cost of living site. It has more detailed descriptions and they rank each country in order of cost of living.

Predicted Difficulty Based on Height and Income

Post by i_want_a_hot_white_chick »

I compiled data on the Average Height of Males in several countries as well as the Per Capita GDP of each country.

Now I'm trying to use that data to predict how easy or difficult a country would be.

I converted the Average Height of Males and the Per Capita GDP into percentile scores then converted those into standard scores.

Then I added
1 * the Standard Score for the Average Height of Males to
2 * the Standard Score for the Per Capita GDP.

I then ranked the countries by this combined score.

While not perfect, it seems to match up pretty well with what many people on this site have observed.

Does anyone know how to do tables in postings?

Every time I try to create this table it winds up misaligned.

I was just in the middle of editing it and had just dumped some data for height and income in the posting before fixing it.

The post should look different now.

The post displays the Average Height of Men and the Per Capita GDP of several countries and I'm attempting to rank those countries on overall difficulty.

Do you know if there is any way to create a table in a posting so that it looks neater?

Thanks!

Very nice, well if you want to make it neater for yourself you can try organizing these numbers in Microsoft Excel but i don't think you can post it on the forum. I'm impressed i really like your ideas a lot. keep up the good work

Interesting chart but you should also factor in religion somehow. Islamic and other extremely religious countries should probably be downgraded on ease of dating. India is a big sausage fest and it's not that easy for foreigners to date Indian girls for example. The culture is very paternalistic and religiously conservative.

If you wanna predict the ease of finding a sugar baby, you should throw height out. The relevant issues are per cap GDP and the religious, cultural, and legal acceptance of such relationships with western men.

For example, India, North Korea, Pakistan, Iraq, Egypt, and Syria, all which your system rates as very easy, should actually be rated as very difficult (in some cases virtually impossible).

On your very difficult list, I think a few should be bumped down to difficult or better. Estonia, Croatia, and even Czech Republic might offer some available girls at affordable prices. Singapore would have some fairly cheap girls available from China, Thailand, and some other poorer Asian countries. And in Singapore and to a lesser extent Japan, you would have a fair shot at attracting a genuine girlfriend from the local pool of girls as a 5’8 30 something, balding white guy.

On your easy and difficult lists, I would also make a lot of adjustments, moving some to the top, others to the bottom, and interchanging a few, basing it all on the factors mentioned at the top.

If your goal is just to attract a genuine girlfriend, the analysis becomes more subjective and needs to be done on a country by country basis. For example, Taiwan, in spite of having a fairly high per cap GDP and slightly above average mean male height, might be one of the easiest for someone like you.

Last point, if you still intend to limit your search to white girls, the first thing you need to do is drop all the countries without significant white populations. That first step would make the subsequent analysis much easier.

I don't think you need that much information to formulate where you need to be for a woman if that's your goal.

I assume you like White Women. Great, with that out of the way. That basically means two places on earth -

Europe and North America.

Having eliminated North America, that leaves Western Europe vs Eastern Europe.

The least amount of adjustment is to places that have a sizable population of English speaking people. That would mean Germany, Belgium and All of Scandinavia.

If height is a concern, I'm assume you mention this because you aren't 6'0 tall, I would say it doesn't matter. Its not like all girls from Netherlands are 6'0 tall, quite a few are around 5'6-5'7.

Its just you won't find a majority of women under 5'5.

I would also argue that much of Western Europe is family friendly. Meaning excellent school systems, women encouraged to have children and care for that child for an extended amount of time for at least half pay during that time. Men are also encouraged to take time off WITH PAY to help mothers care for newborns.

Its not an accident that when Quality of Life surveys come out, much of Western Europe is at the top of the list, while the United States is languishing near the middle of the pack.

Eastern Europe, especially Russia are snap shots of what 1900-1930's America looked like. Most people are working poor or slightly above that, there's no true middle class and if there is you have to find it with a pair of tweezers. War bankrupt Soviet Union, plunged millions of men into a death and destructive behavior and that's just the start.

Can you find a place in a struggling but rebuilding economy/social structure? If your the adventurous type maybe this is for you.

Are you mostly Wife Shopping or looking for someplace to settle?

Updated List of Factors to Consider and Country Ranking

Post by i_want_a_hot_white_chick »

@ well-informed

Thanks! I did organize it in Excel but when I copy it out of Excel into the forum it gets all messed up. I wanted the table to be for the benefit of all and unfortunately it isn't as readable as I wanted it to be.

@ Repatriate

Yes, I think the government style and religion should be factored in somehow I'm just not sure how. Later in the post I put a revised ranking where I added 10 points to the difficulty of India, North Korea, and a few Islamic countries. Let me know if you think the adjustments are about right or are too little or excessive.

@ Rock

I'm making this list not just for my own benefit but for the benefit of everyone on the forum. That is why I have included countries without significant White populations. What I want to do is create a master list for everyone that ranks the difficulty of getting a girlfriend in each country. It seems to me that on this forum we tend to just focus on the same few countries and aren't looking at all of them.

In this thread, I'm hoping to accomplish the following things:

1. Create a list of all the factors one should consider when choosing a country. What are all the types of information you should try to find out about the country? I want to make a list of all those questions so there is one master list for people to refer to.

2. Put all of the links to statistical and other data that is relevant in this thread. Throughout this forum, many have posted various links to useful information about different countries. But since it is in different threads, it is difficult to find. It would be nice to have all of those links organized in this thread by category.

3. Create a master list that ranks the difficulty of dating in different countries. Obviously, different countries give different size advantages and disadvantages in dating. I want to have a list of as many countries as possible ranked by difficulty. It would also be nice to create some sort of formula that predicts the difficulty of different countries and have the ranking be based off of that. Because if the ranking is just made subjectively it probably won't be that accurate.
Rock wrote: If your goal is just to attract a genuine girlfriend, the analysis becomes more subjective and needs to be done on a country by country basis. I'd definitely prefer a genuine girlfriend to a Sugar Babe. I won't know till I go overseas if that is possible. Taiwan wouldn't make sense because I just don't find those women attractive. It is interesting that you say it is easy though. Should I reduce the difficulty rating for all the Asian countries? I assumed that the reason they were easy was because the men were short but perhaps there is an additional advantage simply because they are Asian.

I'm looking for someplace to settle. Hopefully, there I will be able to find a wife or at least a Sugar Babe.
djfourmoney wrote: I assume you like White Women. Great, with that out of the way. That basically means two places on earth -

Yes, you are probably right. However, there are some places outside of Europe and North America, like Argentina, that have a White population. I think that Western Europe wouldn't give me a large enough dating advantage because that area is pretty prosperous.

Height is a concern because if I'm shorter than the other men then I would be at a comparative disadvantage.

@ ALL

I found an interesting website that actually has some data on the beauty of men and women in different countries. According to the website, the most attractive men are from Sweden and the most attractive women are from Norway.

http://www.norway.org.uk/News_and_event ... o-website/

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the statistical source of data that it uses. I would like to see how all of the countries rank but only the UK, Norway, and Sweden are ranked. I would like to see all of the countries because it would be advantageous to go to a country where the men are ranked low in appearance. The source that is cited is BeautifulPeople.com. I'd like to get the data from them but I don't think they would accept me as a member. Does anyone here who is good looking want to try to log in and become a member and get that data? I would REALLY like to have the country data that they have.

NEW COUNTRY RANKING

Column 1 is the Country Name

Column 2 is the Average Male Height

Column 3 is the Per Capita GDP

Column 4 is the Gender Ratio Males / Females

Column 5 is the Log Base 2 of the Per Capita GDP

Column 6 is an adjustment factor. Where it says 10 I added 10 difficulty points. Iran, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Pakistan, India, North Korea all had 10 points added to their difficulty.

Column 7 is the overall difficulty score. It is the sum of the following:

1. Average Male Height in inches.
_____In other words, 1 point of difficulty is added for each increase in the Average Male Height.

2. Log base 2 of the Per Capita GDP
_____(For example, if the per capita is $4,096 it would be 12. If $32,768 it is 15.)
_____In other words, a point is added for each doubling of the Per Capita GDP.
_____2 raised to what power is the per capita GDP.

3. The gender ratio times 20.
_____In other words, for each increase of 0.05 in the Gender Ratio and additional difficulty point is added. A ratio of _____1.05 is 1 point harder than a ratio of 1.00.

4. The adjustment factor for fundamentalist or religious countries like those listed above.
_____Iran, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Pakistan, India, and North Korea had 10 points added and all others had 0 points added.

Are there other fundamentalist countries that should have points added?

UPDATED LIST OF FACTORS TO CONSIDER

I added an additional factor to consider.

31. How close is your facial appearance to the geometric mean of the population?

This is because it has been found that the closer ones facial features are to being the average of the population the more attractive one is. If you have big ears and you move to a country where most of the people have big ears you would look more normal and you would be more attractive than in the previous country.

Also, I found a link for Average Looks of Women

1. Average Height of Men

3. Adjusted Per Capita GDP (adjusted for factors such as outright ownership of land)

4. Percent of single women who are mothers.

5. Percent of women who are obese

6. Male / Female Ratio
This lists 15-64. I'd preferably like one that is 20 to 39 if anyone can find such a list.

Such an analysis might help you narrow down the possibilities, but which of the countries on your final list will feel good to you can only be determined in person.

Eventually, you just need to hop on a plane and go and see how they feel to you.

Yes, but since I'm not able to leave for at least 6 months or so all I can do now is collect information. I want to find out as much as possible BEFORE spending money on airfare and hotels.

TO ALL

I've been trying to find a reliable source of information on what races are in each country as well as the percent of each race in a country. One of the few lists I've found is located at:

http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/peo_e ... nic-groups

Unfortunately, as you can see if you click on the website, it gives the data by ethnic group not by race. Ethnic groups are subgroups of races and I don't know how to match up all of the ethnic groups with their respective races. I listed most of the ethnic groups listed in the link above and below is a list of my guess as to what race the ethnic group belongs to. In italics are the countries where that ethnicity is a significant percent of the population. If you see any ethnic groups that have been put in the wrong category please let me know. If I correctly match up all of the ethnic groups with their respective races then I will be able to put together a table of the percent of each race in each country.
