HI,
A Buddy of mine from A school now works for Mckinsey & Company. He travels a lot and has some pretty good stories. His lifestyle seems pretty good , and something I am interested in. If I ever get through B school and I am going to ask him for an interview. I thought I would poke around the site and find out what’s doing.

What kind of consultant are you aspiring to become?

Well, my buddy went to a much better B school then I will. The company he works for is very selective. He currently works in healthcare consulting, if I had any chance of getting in I imagine it would be in his department. So the answer is Healthcare consulting. How about you what do you do? BTW nice pic!

LOL I am trying to get back into the IT development side of the business. I am a .NET (pronounced "dot net") fanatic although I had graduated from a 2-year techie school with a vocational diploma in J2ee/JAVA OOP/OOA Programming.

As I know, McKinsey is the Harvard of Management Consultancies. Those guys almost get paid as good as Goldman Investment Bankers at the fast track entry level. And its an up-or-out industry, especially @McKinsey. If your friend is enjoying himself that much during his early years when many put in 60-70+ hour workweeks, he must be some kind of genius.
Do as well as you can in your B-School, get into the highest paying tier 1 consultancy or IBanking job possible, work your a** off long enough to accumulate a large enough asset base to support a decent Happier Abroad lifestyle according to your own definition, and then walk as soon as you get fed-up with the rat-race.
