That Topeka, Kansas will NO LONGER prosecute Domestic Violence (DV) crimes. Do you gentlemen think that is a good or a bad thing? I am not sure, but I wanted to let you guys know this to get your opinions on this matter. Is this a good thing or a bad thing, or possibly both, depending on the situation?

That is a drop in the bucket. If the county covering Topeka does not prosecute DV, the State of Kansas can step in and fill the void and prosecute on behalf of the state.

Short of a change to the Kansas criminal statutes, this means nothing.
