Nice, give them a taste of their own medicine. When I'm flipping through the local channels and I stumble upon something from China/Korea/Japan/Vietnam/Philippines and it's a news or "editorial" type program, the female presenter will always have a bright lamp pointing at her to make it seem like she has lighter skin. It's often so bright it's literally painful to look at. What can I say, Asians are very racist. Look how they treated UCLA girl!

A lot of modern Asian women wear full face visors because if their skin gets too tan their husbands will disown them.

I joined Cherry Blossoms last night at around 1am, put only 2-3 sentences on my profile, threw 2-3 pics and in about 12 hours, I've got about 21 emails, 19 smiles and 1 friend request. Most of these are I would say from above average girls, 2 of them from Ukraine/Russia. Of that lot, there are 4-5 I would rate solid 8's. And this is just for a free account. Seeing the interest I've got so far I'm seriously toying with getting the paid membership....Anybody else in here as used this site recently?

An update: I'm getting bombarded with emails, smiles and friend requests. Answering all the emails and keeping up with all the interest I'm getting would be like a full time job it seems....anyone else had the same experience? holly smoke!

Yep - the same. A hundred a day for the first week and then tailed off to 50/day. And yes it can become an obsession.

Yeah not only it is fun and addictive, but receiving tens of emails each day from good looking women and calling you handsome and gorgeous is quite an addictive thing. Makes you get a taste of what it is to be a hot girl in North America.

Also, I've been receiving 2-3 emails each day from very hot russian/ukrainian women. Anyone else experienced that too?

If anyone does get in a penpal relationship it is good to be prepared for the monthly support which most will want until married. this can go on for up to two years and more. It is not a easy decision and even after going there and meeting the gal sometimes it still does not work out and can be a lenghthy process so be prepared for that. Most of the relationships are similar to a sugar daddy type because most in the pi are poor as dirt and the foreiner will have to support so be prepared for that also.

Ok I joined 40 minutes ago just as an experiment. My picture isn't even showing yet and I've gotten 4 messages and 2 winks including one from a blonde Ukrainian girl. I just wrote one sentence about who I am and I'm looking for. They have not even seen a picture of me yet, and do they even know that as a standard member I can't even read their messages? As a reference, I put that I'm 30 years old.

I can't take this seriously as genuine interest. They don't even know what I look like, I just have decent "stats" on paper such as height, weight, education.

Target, this is easy to avoid, just avoid the poor girls. Contact only girls who have an education and a career. Look through the profiles and you'll be able to see those. I'm in contact with a handful of educated, good girls and I've only been on that site for 3 days.

Two days later I've gotten 57 Messages, 91 Smiles and about 10 friend requests. The vast majority are from Filipinas but I've gotten contacted from women in 10 different countries in all, even from France and Ireland. Are they even aware that I can't even read their messages as a non-paying member?

You are on the right track Jacare'!! Be patient. Remember you are the one that is in demand. Find a pretty, smart girl with a good head on her shoulders. I found my wife Cathy (her sitting in the chair) by using the Advanced Search feature. I made a list of my top selections and I wrote them. Figured it was a good idea to go on the offensive. Nothing wrong with sitting back and responding to all the ladies that send you messages either. You might want to employ a mixture of the two strategies and see what happens.

Can't preach enough that it's wise to get a girl that will be an asset and not a liability. For instance, you can find an absoulte 10 but if she has all the looks in the family and her entire family of 12 people is relying on her to pay the bills...not good. If you can find a girl from a family where her father has a job and they are not in complete poverty, it bodes better for you.

There are many girls from middle class families that realize Philippines can be a dead end. Quick example, my wife had what she considered a good job. Her salary? $300 US dollars per month which afforded her a small apartment without a stove or a frig. So what is the next step for these girls? What would be the perfect solution? Going abroad where they can get a good job!!! A good majority of talented Filipinos don't stay in Phils.

Worried about her leaving you once you bring her over? I wouldn't be overly concerned as long as you treat her well. Filipinas are naturally loyal and when they love their man, they REALLY love their man.

Pete, good approach, I agree that if you're looking for a serious gf, then she better be educated and have a career/degree in order not to totally leech off of you. The poor and hot ones are good to play with but for a relationship and beyond, stick to the educated ones. Btw, I've been also contacted and communicating with 3-4 very beauitful ukrainian girls, educated, with their own careers and their letters ooze feminity. So much that I'm seriously considering going to the Ukraine later this year.

Also, did a quick count, since joinng last friday, in a week, I was contacted by about 650 girls, with half being emails and half smiles. I even met a very pretty girl from Jakarta last night. Damn I am loving this and I'm starting to get addicted to this site.

So similar to my experience in the number of contacts I received and my quick addiction to CB.

I too received some emails from a few Ukrainian and Russians girls but never took them all that seriously. I kept wondering why they were on a dating site that specializes in Asian women, when there are plenty of sites that specialize in Russian or Eastern European women. In then end I chatted with a few but that was all. Not saying there's anything wrong with them, but...

And by all means, take Pete's advice. I did, and went on the hunt based on my parameters (college degree, a particular age range, weight range, no kids, no smoking, etc.) and still there were thousands of girls to choose from.

And then you'll have the hard part (and the most fun); who to meet and where.

An update:
While the russian/ukrainian women there are very hot and beautiful, 99% of them are scammers who after 2-3 emails exchanged, will ask, directly or indirectly, to send them money to pay for them to have someone translate their communication from english to russian vice versa. Needless to say, I totally stopped responding to them and have put a big disclaimer on my profile that russian/ukraininan women should not contact me.

I have been receiving a lot of emails/smiles from decent to good, educated and sometime beautiful pinay girls. I even had one quite hot 30 year old chinese woman from Beijin on her first email to my private email sent me a link to join a dating site. What a load of crap.

Conclusion of this little experiment: I don't think I'm going to renew my subscription once it expires. However, prior to returning to the Phils, I will sign up a month in advance to line up as many contacts as possible. But if done well and with patience and time, there are some gems there for sure, as well as loads of sharks and out right scammers. Last night, got a very sexy girl from Bohol after sending some racy pics, asked me to send her 900 pesos so that she can buy a wifi card so we can continue our chat. LOL

Be warned tough. Good site to have fun and to line up girls prior to a trip if you have time. I have about 250 unanswered emails and 300 smiles I have not checked yet...LOL

Anyone else had the same experience as me on CB?
