I think this is a classical example of different people having different observations based on their experience and where they hang out and who they associate with. So, one person sees this around where he is and based on what he himself has lived through, while another person knows a completely different West.
My experience is that the OP postulates the general trend, while in your case you may be experiencing exceptions to the rule. Again, this is what I have observed.
This is why we need to get other people's opinions and experiences on the matter.

Anyone who's under 30 or so though, shouldn't have problems getting girls in their age group. You just gotta know where to go(for example, this shouldn't be a problem in NYC, but it may be in Michigan, specifically in the college areas), as people have their various mentalities towards youth and partners. In the Midwest, it may be frowned upon, as there are more people who lean more toward their own age group and mindset. Whereas on the coast where things are more extreme, people do what they want or need to do. And if it means shacking up with an older man for whatever reason, so be it.

Sometimes, though I can't recall ever being in a bar where anyone under 21 was allowed in. I didn't go looking for women in that age cohort, but occasionally we found each other.

Anybody who tries to blanket all people under some parameter like age is probably just driven by his own insecurities about that parameter. BTW I personally believe that men whom lust after big-breasted women are secretly little mama's boys whom probably breast-fed a little too long, and subconsciously, want an adult women to have bigger breasts to compensate for their own adult bodies. In other words, they want to feel SAFE AND SECURE by becoming that little infant again when they suck/nurse on them.

Or if the women are attracted to you. I've always driven econo-boxes, never had much money and haven't used a position of authority to hook up with a woman. In the western countries, there is a taboo of men dating women who are a lot younger than them. Now go over to the Philippines, Thailand, eastern Europe, Russia and South America and you see just the opposite. In those countries, you have men dating and being married to women 20 to 40 years younger then them.

haha speak for yourself !! ive always had success with younger women...im early forties now and consistantly go out with cute girls in early to mid 20s. granted im pretty decent looking and dont currently live in the US ! if i were in US id have more trouble for sure.
