How porn is altering men's views about women

The thesis of this article appears to be that women can't keep up with male expectations instilled by pornographic images. As the author says, it was once appealing for a naked woman to appear in front of a man in flesh and blood, but now a real woman is just a bad version of pornography, where the sexual experience is perfected. She says women everywhere are having a hard time continuing to please men or even have decent love lives when most men just turn to the 'net for quick satisfaction.

I do think porn is bad for you, and it can desensitize you to the real thing. After lengthy dry spells where my BFF is my hand and YouPorn, once I get with a real woman again I feel somewhat underwhelmed, especially as condoms, as a guy I knew in college once eloquently put it, "Feels more like you're having sex with a milk carton, I just can't feel anything!". I'm going out with a girl next week, and as things could lead up to something I am fasting from both porn and masturbation. Not a bad idea, FYI.

But there's a different way to read this. If men are giving up on trying to get sex, it would actually take sexual power back. Women will try harder and be eager to at least do 10% effort to attract a guys attention, and women making an effort to be more sexually pleasing would change the inherent lazy nature of many women who don't really see sex as tic for tac (as a famous Seinfield episode once put it, for women having sex is more like taking out the laundry).

So while I think the porn pandemic is bad for males who no longer care about the real thing, it can be a good thing for those single guys who give up porn and actively stay on the market. I think women will be much more responsive to guys who prefer them over images online, and guys will be happier by women who are making more of an effort to keep their men. Thoughts?

Porn is an outlet for men who cant find the real thing , the problem is when it becomes habit and gets to the point where you realise you dont even need real woman that much.

I used to masturbate 3 times a day and watch porn and when I go out I feel tired.
One thing I noticed is when i dont masturbate and watch porn i have a lot more energy, I need less sleep and females get more attracted to me, i get more agressive as well.

Do you honestly think porn would do so well if most Americans were content, and getting the real thing? The only reason porn has a market is because a disproportionate amount of men in America simply are not getting their sexually needs fulfilled by women. Also honestly the porn industry is a fallback for plenty of no talent American women that simply want to find a way to make money. Most male porn stars make shit compared to female actresses. (primarily because of the fact there is a smaller ratio of women.)


The funny thing though is now feminists are blaming men for turning to porn as a way of escaping their lack of a sex life. American women are ironically enough the reason for the porn industry in the first place.

By the way. Porn itself is becoming much more hard core than you were able to buy in most shops 15 years ago. The internet and home made porn has lifted the bar.

It is also true that women who are trying hard to land a man are FAR more willing to please him than a wife. Without saying too much. Since I separated from my wife (who was the only woman I had sex with for 23 years from when I was 20 and I was a "good christian boy" so I was very inexperienced) and I have dated women who are DESPERATE to land a man? I have been offered things that I never knew existed. Its a lot of fun.

I have also been offered sweetness and tenderness that I was never offered in my 23 years with my ex. Eastern women just seem to know how to please a man and make him happy.

If I had to name my favourite past-time it would actually be the backrubs and massages while "Sue "was singing to me. I asked her once why she liked doing that so much for me. Her answer was that she had never seen a man look so happy and pleased with her as I do after she gives me a massage with the singing. She was so impressed she could make me so happy doing that that she was always ready to offer that.

One story I will add is this...I was with fav#4 at dinner one night...she asked me what I wanted to drink and I told her. She got up and went to the bar and got drinks for us both and brought them back. I asked her why she did that since there was a waitress that would come around. She replied "I just wanted to do that for you, I can do these things and not wait for the waitress".

Yep...she just wanted to fetch me a drink and make a point of being willing to do that. I NEVER saw my wife do that in 23 years...indeed. When I was injured with two slipped disks and high on pain killers and asked for food and water my own wifes response was "why should I do that for you, what am I, your slave?"

Contrast this with how my mother treated my father when he was similarly injured and I was a teen and witnesed this....she did not leave his side for TWO WEEKS. She cared for him, brought him food and drink, put cold compacts on him. The whole nine yards. I stupidly thought that I would get a wife who would do the same for me....nope.

U know what` Ive been around the adult industry for a few years
and also have friends that also do porn. Yeah some videos i have come across are pretty f***ed up and wrong from a girl's point of view. But u know you SIGNED those papers so whatever.
