Here is an unbelievable story I found where a woman lied to her family, friends and co-workers that she had stage 2 breast cancer and asked for donations. She was able to raise $ 8,000 and spent that money to get her breast implants.

Here are some details from the article, "She initially told people that she was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer last August and said she needed a mastectomy. Toler’s mom, Vickie Schirtzinger, even created a “Jami’s Hope” page on the Give Forward website to help raise money for her daughter’s medical expenses."

"Police told Arizona Family that Toler’s scam began to unravel after she turned down an offer from a doctor who would have treated the breast cancer for free."
