Has Anyone Been To Uruguay ?

I was just reading this article today in "International Man" and found an interesting chart comparing the the US to 4 Latin American countries. Uruguay was the winner with the US coming in dead last. Scroll down to see chart under "Possible Exit Destinations".

I visited a much touted beach town called Punta Del Este. Suffice it to say I would never go back.

Argentina is far more cosmopolitan and sophisticated. Uruguay is similar but it just misses the boat when it comes to single male travel. Perhaps Montevideo is better, but Uruguay just did not impress me in the least.

I would say their women are second to Argentines in terms of attractiveness. Not friendly at all however.
