Here's a quote that I found on another website's forums from a guy who calls himself "The Elephant Man". He rants about how all women have boyfriends no matter what (though I'm pretty sure his frustration stems from AMERICAN women all claiming to have boyfriends). Quote below:

Frankly I think this guy needs to be introduced to HappierAbroad.com so that he can understand that the compulsive lying and mind games are only an American woman thing (because let's face it, there is no way all of these bitches magically have boyfriends when they all hate males... ...or is there?...). But I've been in this guy's shoes before; I've mentioned, here on the forums, countless times where women in America (namely the scum cunts here in Chicagoland/the midwest) seem to despise males with every ounce of themselves, yet every one of them are married or steadily involved with a mangina. Hell, nevermind approaching women here; I have been the one who was approached by women who flirted their ass off and offered me their phone number, but when I mention a date, she brings up her boyfriend and how "really great and special" he is to her, and thus denying my offer to hookup/date! Is lying about a boyfriend or having a mangina ATM machine wrapped around their finger a "status thing" for women in America or what? Check out the replies on that link, too. Some posters hit on some deep insight (i.e. some guy reiterates if having a bf is a stupid mentality status thing to women, another guy brings up that women have low sex drives and aren't even worth the effort altogether, etc).

Women are just playing a game, and the game is, "hurt the man".....

I've had many girls start flirting with me and pretending like they are really interested in me, and then when I ask them out they get a lot of pleasure in saying "NO".....

They do this all the time, and it stems from the hate they have inside themselves, they hate men with a passion, and do whatever they can to hurt them....

They also make fun of men all the time and think it's fun to do that....

First of all, most women stateside have some sort of male admirer. Now, whether or not this is a "boyfriend" is another story.

I think since each woman can find a guy to drop some cash, taking her to an Olive Garden for instance ... well, for all intensive purposes, she can brag to others that she has a "boyfriend".

And I've also seen this with ugly, fat, Shamo the Killer Whale types, where on one hand, they fear someone telling 'em that they look like a Good Year blimp and so that in order to hide it, they need a sort of merry go around of men engaging 'em.

All and all, this is why I avoid women at all costs. They're caustic and nasty, inside out. Believe me, the day I ended engaging Yankee c*nts, my day-to-day peace of mind has gone up many fold. Montreal Downtown, that's it, the North American retreat center for men

I wouldn't doubt that even women who are morbidly obese or as ugly as sin have boyfriends in America. Since there are 4 million more single men than single women in the US between 18 and 49, it's more likely that women will have men throwing themselves at them.

This is why I like Russia, because in Russia there are 10 million more women than men. In Ukraine, there are 3.5 million more women than men.

Women go to great lengths to try to appear rich even when the opposite it true. If there are any doubts look at all the fake junk they buy to make themselves look that way.

I used to work with a woman many years ago. She would always talk about my boyfriend says this or said that in every other sentence. Flash forward 2012 and she is 40 something and she still is with the same guy and she still talks in the same way as if she is the only woman in the world that has a BF.
First off i do not like that word.
I am not a boy and i am not your friend if i am jamming you so the word makes no sense. I am either your fiance if we are going to get married or non marriage your sex partner or lover.

Especially bad are waitresses where I live. At a PF Changs when I first went there I didn't know how it was so this nice Korean waitress I had was really chatty.

Every time she brought me something she would talk to me forever, at one point I thought she was going to sit down and have dinner with me. Telling me her life story, asking me all about myself. She was just whoring for a better tip.

Chicks have all kinds of delusions about how she has things going for her, like money, boyfriends, gifts etc. It can be a complete fantasy. Money paid for a bus fair can become a trip to Paris. On the other hand, I've been to several Latin American countries and it's not too hard to find good-looking women 25 and up who are single, have never been married, and don't have any kids. Of course, most foreign women want to have kids. Most want a guy who will treat them right, so some of them look towards Western men. Of course, if they can't have a real relationship with one of us, they will settle for a local guy just so they can start a family.

Back to North American women, they have so many guys hitting on them that they can afford to be choosy, and they often are. That's why a North American woman will be like an interviewer who looks for any reason to disqualify a candidate from further consideration. And dates in North America tend to be very much like job interviews. Dress to impress, sell yourself, and avoid saying or doing anything which would not get you the position and pay you so desire.

Your right, since so many women in the US do have boyfriends, you almost have to "steal" her away from her boyfriend. I know Tom Leykis says to just lie to women and tell them you have a good paying job.

For example, when you strike up a conversation with a woman, mention to her that you are a real estate investor, stock broker or you own your own business. Then ask her for her phone number. The chances are, her boyfriend does not have a good paying job (like the job you lied to her and said you have). She will gladly give you her number, since she thinks you make more money than her boyfriend does!

Frankly, I'm not concerned with finding a single woman here in America, however if she is smoking hot and hitting on me (like the woman mentioned above), then I would ONLY reciprocate if she is single. As much as I prefer foreign women, there are still quite a few non-black American women who I would easily deem hot and f**k-n-chuckable. I may be interested in sex, but that doesn't mean I will settle for sloppy seconds if these women are with some "boyfriend" regularly.
