I'm in the Burbank area and prefer to stay close by when drinking but can also do the bus thing. Can also pick people up.
Momopi I'm down in Orange County when visiting family down there will definitely have to meet up for some good seafood next time I'm down there. I actually have a date with a Korean girl who's living in Korea town this weekend.

Re: Back in Los Angeles anyone up for a beer?
Damn, I just moved outta the valley and to the Chicagoland! Loved the L.A. 'burbs but happy to be back in my native town. Where were you in the midwest?eurobrat wrote:I just moved back and am getting settled.
Anyone up to grab a beer? Valley area only please. I know a few spots that have cheap local micro brews.
Feels good to be home and out of that sh** hole known as the midwest.

There's a dim sum place in Northridge next to CSUN called A&W Seafood:djfourmoney wrote:San Fernando Valley (Reseda, Northridge)eurobrat wrote:What area are you in DJ?

Back when I used to eat there in early 2000's, they had excellent sticky rice (wrapped in banana leaf & steamed) for dim sum. I can't speak for the quality today but you can give it a try.
The Galleria Koran Supermarket down the street had great fried chicken drumsticks from the food court area, not sure if they're still there:

No offense but that stuff looks pretty fattening. I put on 10lbs living in Kansas that I'm trying to loose before my next trip. And there's no good beermomopi wrote:There's a dim sum place in Northridge next to CSUN called A&W Seafood:djfourmoney wrote:San Fernando Valley (Reseda, Northridge)eurobrat wrote:What area are you in DJ?

I found a new pub that only serves California Micro Brew and wine and also serves gourmet sausages and hot dogs with salads and vegan options.
