Is it me, or is the whole embassy protest utter stupidity? I am sorry, but in between the movie, our foriegn policy, and just politics in general, it resembles the definition of bi-polar if I had ever seen it. First the movie. The dialouge sounds like it is out of a Sandra Cohen movie, and the acting out of a school production. Second, policy. Why did we arm al-Qaeda affiliates, and expect it to be utopia? What were they thinking? And then to promote a movie, not only culturally, but production wise horrible, what do you expect? And third, if Mitt Romney were president, he probably would have supported the same invasion of Libya as Mr. Obama would have. So this begs the question, is our politics bi-polar? And why does nobody recognize the blowback?

On a similar note- the Obama appointed ambassador to Egypt will not allow the Marines guarding the embassy to have any bullets for their guns. The circus continues.

Problem -- Reaction -- Solution. Ordo ab chao.
What you see as stupidity is someone else's profit opportunity..
People who mentioned things like blowback or consequences were called kooky, unrealistic, and unpatriotic.

This whole situation is a prime example of why our interventionist foreign policy is failure and why we should not be involved in situations that don't involve the United States. Getting involved in these conflicts only result in "Blowback," as you have mentioned. Thank goodness I'm not in the U.S. armed forces anymore....

Well, it kind of is hard to avoid when the tv is onhereever you go. Also, not to make excuses, but since I finished my non-site based part of my business, I have been having a hard time trying to bide my time. In between analyzing issues, and feeling kind of down about an imperfection and it's effect on my social life, And to top that off, my hdd is goong in for repair, so I can't as easily learn things like I normally would. And I know, those first two are a huge waist of time, but when your town is a "retirement" community, there are not alot of options. I try to keep occupied (school and such), which helps, but I like tohave a full schedule. But anyways, not to tell my life story, but just what I am thinking. Boy do I miss my pc. Then I could start on learning php and mysql.
