Please don't post adult/violent content except in NSFW board
Dear all,
Google Adsense has disabled ads to this site and sent me a message that it was due to the adult content threads on here, such as those about brothels and escorts overseas. Since there is no pay per click ad program that I know of that pays as well as Google does, this means that I will lose about $200 or $300 a month from these ads not showing on here.
To try to re-instate this site to comply with Google Adsense content policies, I've removed a number of threads about brothels, escorts and FKK clubs, while I file an appeal to try to get this site re-instated with Adsense.
So for now, please don't post any topics related to adult content, except in the NSFW board, which is hidden from search engines.

Wow, really?
I wonder if it really is the "adult content" or is it the message itself?
I guess advertisers don't wanna get behind that.

Winston, you could type "site:happierabroad.com" into google followed by any inappropriate keywords, then go through all the threads deleting and editing where necessary. Perhaps there's an easy way to do it but that's just a suggestion. The forum appears to be fully working now on my friend's child-locked computer.

I did that already, but not with "site:happierabroad.com". I simply used the Google search box above. It does the same thing. Have you forgotten about that? :p
I removed the most obvious topics that were about escorts and brothels. However, I'm not sure if I am supposed to remove every post with the word "sex" in it or not. If the policy were that strict, then thousands of posts would have to be removed. lol

Some of those AFA photos might be a bit racy for AdSense as well.
I had the same warning, and although some of my content was obviously over the line, it's really hard to tell with other stuff. Best clean the site up, then ask them if it's still OK.

GOOD NEWS!!!
Adsense has been re-approved on this site! Yes! Thank God.
Anyhow folks, from now on please don't start anymore adult-related topics.
Also, from now on, try to use less adult content type words so that we don't get flagged in search engines and "family safe" filters. For example, use terms like "p4p" instead of "p-r-o-s-t-i-t-u-t-i-o-n".

I got another adsense warning about adult topics in the Humor section. So I moved them to the NSFW board.
Please don't post any adult topics there. Instead, post them in the NSFW board, which is hidden from public view. Especially topics with the word "sex" in the topic title.

You guys, next time you start threads with titles in them like "having sex" or "have sex" can you post them in the NSFW section? Otherwise, they risk getting flagged by Google. I had to move several such threads to the NSFW section.

On the index page, scroll down and you will see it in the Miscellaneous category. But you have to be logged in to see it since it is hidden from public view.

I just received this warning from Google Adsense about violent content on this forum in the form of videos and photos. So I had to move the thread it cited into the NSFW section. So please don't post such things anymore. Geez. They are getting more anal and tight all the time. Why can't they just loosen up?

The Google ads have been disabled here again. I removed the violent content described in the warning message above, and others that I found through search as well. But they were still disabled. I don't know why. Maybe the Google bot made an error and based their information on their search engine datase, which does not reflect changes in real time?
Anyhow, do any of you know of any other violent content posted here that I missed? If so, can you post the links to them here? I'm talking about violent content in terms of images and videos, which is primarily what the violation is for it seems.

Some of you are still posting violent images in the forum. I had to move those threads to the NSFW section.
Again, please don't post images or videos of fights or violence. News stories about violence with just text is ok. But not images or videos of violence.

Just a note:
If you are going to post images or videos showing violence (even from a movie), please only do so in the NSFW section, which is a private board.
Lately, Odbo has been posting violent and racist images in the forum. For now, I've placed his violent images in the NSFW section and his racist images in the Racial section. If Google gives me trouble about the racist images, then I may have to turn the Racial section into a private board. I am considering just putting all his racist images in the NSFW section too, to avoid the risk altogether.
In the meantime, if any of you see Odbo posting more violent or racist images or videos outside the NSFW section, please PM the links to me so I can edit or move them.
