It's funny how those over-educated asian women are still DUMB AS SHIT. No sane man would touch those greedy soul-hoes with a 10 foot pole. Those kind of women are never happy, they're always trying to out do eachother at meaningless accomplishments. The grade-school mentality of this endless narcissism competition is northeast asia's matriarchy at it's finest. I can imagine having a penthouse on an Australian island by the great barrier reef and such a wife still complaining that I don't have a helipad or some shit.

Women are more suited for college. They have no problem accepting illogical bullshit, and they generally have nothing else going on in their lives so siting in their room and reviewing books for hours at a time is just fine... while it annoys the f**k out of men because we need physical activity and some kind of meaning or mental stimulation beyond spending hours everyday in a room, memorizing things, taking breaks to put on make-up or talk on the phone with friends about nothing.

When I had frequented Mancoat, I remember a cool fellow by the name of Yohan, whom deemed S. Korea as the NE-Asian epicenter hotbed of feminism (not quoted word-for-word, but that's what he meant).

He said that S. Korea became that way because it became a country where American Christian fundamentalists had set up one of their gospel satellite communities right after WWII, and it had hit the ground running over there.

And now S. Korean women had bought it hook, line, and Titanic sinker.

thats too bad, I was rather fond of korean girls because they tend to have a christian background.

The more I read and see the more I think korean girls might be even worse then american women, yet I find my self still hoping I'm wrong...

South Koreans tend to have no religion of those with some faith its about 55% Christian to 45% Buddhist. North Koreans, well its a communist cult of personality which worships the ruling Kim's. In many ways, perhaps because of Japanese domination for generations they come off like African Americans with that huge chip on their shoulder mixed in with the old Japanese thoughts of being from the master race.

I think this is a global trend; women are more and more highly educated. In fact I remember that this past year in the US, the number of female college freshmen just exceeded the their male counter part. So naturally they are having difficulties finding men. Even in China where men outnumber women, guess what the women are complaining about? Not enough quality guys ...

I agree. That's why I'm not doing what my parents DESPERATELY want me to do: date an Asian-American college girl. Rolling Eyes I'm tired of hearing, "Omg I need to get an A! Omg I need to get into med school!" Stuff like this would be over half of what I'd overhear from them on campus. They're often cold, irritable, rude, cliquish, materialistic, have short tempers, feel entitled, and can't think creatively. I just can't connect with them on a deep level. And I really feel sorry for the white guys going all crazy for those overrated girls. By the time they realize they're in serious trouble, it's usually already too late.

Hispanic-American, black American, and white American girls aren't much different either. Evil or Very Mad

(Of course I'm not talking about all of them categorically, but that's the general trend.)

Yeah it's definitely American culture that ruins the women. If you wanted to truly broaden that a bit you could say it's Anglo culture that is largely responsible for this state of affairs. I don't see very many differences between British, Australian, Canadian, and American women. They are all cut from a similar cloth.

The power behind this cultural indoctrination is powerful because it's economic as well as media influenced.

I would like to share my 2 cents (20 jeons?) on Korean girls, since I dated two and met a few more. They are easily the least romantic women on the planet. Think Japan in the boom years, when everything was about money, social and professional status, material possessions and show-offs. All topped with a pseudo-American take on work ethics and consumerism and strict Catholic views on all things moral, spiritual and intimate. I have no problem agreeing with what has been said on this thread: Korean women are unattractive to a Western man even when they have lots of reasons to be, because they tend to suffocate their inner selves and align to the most solid version of western materialistic conformism. They kill their inner desire to be loved emotionally, if not passionally, even before it has a chance to show up. They value companionship and don't mind almost platonic relationships, and I'm sure some of them would be great social situation material, but that's about it.

One of my Korean dates, back when I was living in Milan (Italy), was highly educated in private universities and was working as an architectural designer for a local Italian firm. That alone would have given us enough material to converse fluently for ages. She was the cute doll type of Korean girl, I wasn't overly attracted to her but (mistakenly) felt her intellectual level would spawn something interesting, even for a short term relationship. Boy was I wrong: it was difficult to extract even a simple conversation off her, regardless of language spoken (Italian, English and even a bit of Korean, which she spoke). She simply felt uncomfortable in the company of an interested man and just wouldn't let the words go. All she would keep on doing was sip her cocktail, give me a few embarassed smiles and keep on staring blank. She would sometimes apologise for her lack of talkativeness, saying that even her mother used to say that, by not talking, she didn't show much life going on. I tried to challenge her in bed, to which she would respond with some random emotional rushes (couldn't really call it "passion"), after which she would smoke a couple of cigarettes and back to her usual ice-cold self. From a romance and "connectedness" point of view, definitely the rock bottom of my dating experiences.

I am not generalising now, but from what I saw from the Korean girls I met, those who are highly educated tend to go to Catholic schools (plus they have a strict family upbringing anyway) and have their social and intimate life thwarted, if not mutilated, by what they learn and have to comply with. Culturally infibulated, for the lack of a less crude term Smile

Wow, you hit this one right on the head. I dated two Korean-American girls and they were this way as well. Just very very reserved and icy personalities even for Asian-American women. They were both smart but it's like they were missing some kind of spark that came from living and being young. Physical intimacy seemed like it was just something to do as a release. Everything they talked about had to do with practical matters or social concerns. Breaking it off with them was mutual and contained little drama and it's unfortunate because mentally and attraction wise they had a lot going for them but their personalities were too repressed in this way. I think Korean parenting just turned them into career orientated dead fish. Even the Taiwanese girls I have known weren't that dead inside.

Well, they basically followed Japan on the rollercoaster ride of two-decade rags-to-riches growth. After the military junta of Franco was finally overthrown in Spain, Spanish people lived no less of a cultural renaissance (the famous "movida") that lasted for a decade and rocked all over Europe. They had it all inside, they had never rejected their roots and everything jumped out like a spring doll in a box when the seal was cut open. Look at Koreans instead: they went from the "proper" fascism of General Park to the softened-up capitalist diktat of American money flowing in and just went with the flow. The Yankees managed to do in Korea what they never did in Japan, and without even a single bullet shot (the Korean war a very distant echo)!

Leaving Koreans aside, I am particularly fond with Japanese women: they look cold, lifeless and well-integrated from the outside, but they also wildly cultivate their individuality in private, and that's a massive treasure chests or surprise to tap in if they like you and tune into you.
