I got a message from a Chinese woman (in her early 30s) who actually said that I looked like an NBA star. Now that's a new one for me... No one has ever said that to me before I replied to her, 谢谢，您美丽的少妇! 您看起来Lucy刘! 实际上，您更好比Lucy刘看!, which is, in English, Thank you, you beautiful young woman! You look just like Lucy Liu! Actually, you look BETTER than Lucy Liu! Then I proceeded to introduce myself to her I wonder how this will play out. Are Chinese women actually good, or should I "Avoid them like the plague", as JamesBond would say?

Actually, I am Black, and I do not know a lick of Chinese at all. I used a Translator to send that to her

Hero, I know you are black. I thought you might have studied Chinese. It is a hard language. Usually learning curve is about 4-5 years. Maybe at year 3 you can write but Chinese have many characters. Much more than Japanese. Japanese is easier to read but still difficult.
