The crisis for single women in this age group seeking a mate is very real. Almost one in three women aged 30 to 34 and a quarter of late-30s women do not have a partner, according to the 2006 census statistics. And this is a growing problem. The number of partnerless women in their 30s has almost doubled since 1986.
The challenge is greatest for high-achieving women in their 30s looking for equally successful men. Analysis of 2006 census figures by the Monash University sociologist, Genevieve Heard, reveals that almost one in four of degree-educated women in their 30s will miss out on a man of similar age and educational achievement. There were only 68,000 unattached graduate men in their 30s for 88,000 single graduate women in the same age group...
Many really struggle with the fact that they aren't in a position to be too choosy.
Jamie, finds himself spoilt for choice
''I'm lucky,'' he says, ''to be in a buyer's market.''
But also read the comments at tthe end. Lots, lots of guys are posting how they're having an awesome time in Australia. These guys are in their 30s/40s and they're writing about a huge switch in their lives, thy're having to turn women away. Seriously. So what's the deal with Oz? I'm hearing contradictory information.

dont believe everything you read.
I have already discussed about ratios on Oz dating sites (match.com and POF),
as an ex bouncer i could tell you that bar/clubs/pubs have male / female odds of 60-70%: 40-30%,
if Oz was good country to get the women why there are so many Aussies flooding Thailand and PH?
Why would there be so many 24/7 brothels(supermarkets here close at 11pm or 12 btw)

This article is basically saying the same thing ... women want an alpha male and won't settle for less than a tall, handsome, investment banker w/ a PhD from Wharton/Penn or Stanford. I don't see anything here that's all that different from the entitled women of America.
The difference it seems is that in the end, Aussie guys know how to play with these women, once they turn 30. They don't take 'em seriously.
I suspect some of this has to do with the fact that p4p is legal Down Under and that these guys can regularly fly to Indonesia or Thailand for R&R. Thus, if you're let's say building your career, you can see escorts instead of blowing your Friday nights, spending cash on a bitch.
Believe me, this is HUGE! When I was working on an assignment Down Under, I quite literally did not have the bandwidth, to even consider dating an Aussie chick. I would bang, work, exercise, go drinking w/ friends, & sleep. Unlike New England, I'd never felt a type of ominous pressure, to try to date anyone. Thus, I was feeling like an Alpha Male ex-pat, even though in reality, I wasn't even remotely interested in a woman for a relationship.

The theory makes sense.
But in Germany, where p4p is also legal and extremely commonplace, I do see guys getting a little desperate and on the prowl for women and relationships. How do you explain that?
In Spain, Belgium, and France, they also have brothels, but those Western-European guys are still horny and go to Eastern Europe to find wives or f**k buddies.

Avoid blue countries if women are high on your priority list

Without having worked there myself, and having only attended German FKKs on R&R from London , I can only speculate based upon others' experiences.
And part of that is that many Germans don't have the type of Anglo-American sphere of work hard & play hard w/ excess drinking, as the counterbalance in life. Thus, in Anglosphere, provided that there isn't this sort of Yankee puritanism around, you have work and then ... spend your cash the way you see fit. The other non-US British nations: Canada, UK, Oz, NZ, all have legalized boinking & so in effect, becoming a go-solo Alpha male is very doable.
In Germany & other central European states, being a part of something else, a group or a dynamic of a group, is most likely very important. So in this case, dating and being in a relationship is being that 'part of something', so in that sort of culture, a boinking club would just be a relief value whereas for an American or Australian, it can completely replace dating Anglo-women, without much adieu, since AWs don't really know how to manage groups of people w/o it being a Femi-Nazi, Sex-In-The-City hate club.

Pretty shrewd observations, S_Parc!
Anglo men indeed benefit from p4p much more than central Europeans because they're less traditionalist/old-world. So p4p is indeed a viable alternative as a lifestyle...

President Calvin Coolidge once said that ... "The business of America is business"
Well, the natural corollary to that would be to embrace legalized boinking than to exert Puritanical laws against it
I guess olde Calvin, being from Vermont, the land closest to Quebec Canada, the boinking central of the northeast of North America, may have some unconscious insights on this matter
But one thing about New Englanders, never ask these questions in public. In public, we're all prim and proper

The business of America is not business, it's religion.
But it took me a while to 'get' it. I was confused for a long time by American conventional wisdom e.g. "always follow the money trail." Money does determine some but not all things in America. A huge part is religion, and sometimes it overrides money.

That's why we only have legal boinking in Nevada
Thus, I'd prefer to be in Australia, New Zealand, or Canada (sans the winters), than here.

Yes, it is true that women 30+ here are much easier to date than women in their 20's. HOWEVER, many of them are still picky, just not as much. This is exactly why I started dating older women in their early 30's, but now I have given up on them too.
Getting an average looking woman in her 20's here is just about impossible. With 30+ you have better odds, but usually only if you're at least 5 years older than her. So yes, if you're a man who is 35 or older, then it might not be too bad if you don't mind feminists and loud bogans.
I believe once women turn 30, things do start to balance out a little more, but women still do have the upper hand.
Also the quality of women in Australia is still very poor, even if you do have a better chance of dating one in her 30's. Its simply not worth it.

Also if an Australian woman can't get a date in her 30's, then she deserves everything she gets for being so damn picky while in her 20's.

They are the most corrupt feminized countries where women rules and men are just there to make up numbers and to work/ slave for them

This is good map where you shd avoid countries in Red ,
Blue is where you should be aiming, followed by Green if Blue is out of reach.
*Countries like USA, NZ, OZ and Canada would be Red since they have been colonized by British
Print it out and stick it on the wall somewhere if you cant memorize
