I never been there but from reading these forums . It seems like the consensus is that filipina are not that attractive. I been to Thailand and South Korea. To me Korean girls are attractive but I seen attractive Thai women too.

I seen Filipina profile on dating site....and well some are cute but nothing really stunning . Not like the Ukraine girls or girls from South America.

I'm not sure if they are the most unattractive but I have noticed that native Malaysian and Indonesian women don't look very attractive for the most part either. They share a similar ancestry as native Filipinos. Which means the real "local" stock is short, squat, very brown, and has an aboriginal face. The hottest examples out of these nationalities tend to be heavily mixed with Chinese or european ancestry.

This is especially true with Filipinas. Most Filipinas are short, brown, and round with aboriginal faces. A lot of white western men think this is attractive though and the vast majority of white western men I see with a girlfriend are dating this type of girl. There's nothing wrong with that but I don't think it's attractive at all.

Thais tend to be more heavily mixed as a people. You will see very beautiful Chinese-Thai girls who look Taiwanese, Japanese, or Korean. You will also see the short, brown, and round types that's prevalent in SE Asia. There's just much more diversity there and in general I find Thai women to be healthier, taller, and classier than Filipinas.

Half Filipinas mixed with european blood are stunningly beautiful. Half filipinas get over-looked, but they are the hottest mix.

And Korean chicks can be really super hot.

Generally speaking mainland Chinese women are the hottest in Asia, but they can be a pain in the a** to date.

i've seen a ton of women from PH who are pretty and very attractive!

The Pinays in the AFA tour photos are pretty darned hot as well. Now if I went on one of those tours I really would lose my mind! China was bad enough but the Philippines would be epic.

Filipino women can be hit or miss. I'd say 80% of filipino women truely are rather plain and similar looking. Ah, but the remaining 20% of filipino women can be stunning! Many of the best looking filipinas have a high concentration of spanish, indonesian, indian, negroid or caucasian blood. In my wife's case it's spanish blood. She doesn't have the classic "filipino nose" and her face is a bit longer, therefore she looks more Thai or Vietnamese. Many people (filipinos included) have a difficult time guessing my wife's nationality.

I've been to a few countries in Asia. My vote for the prettiest women? Vietnamese women by a landslide because they are nice mixture of SE Asian with a ton of Chinese blood mixed in.

I thought Vietnamese were cute too but they had one big drawback..they were mostly short. I didn't see very many tall leggy Vietnamese women but they had very cute faces and figure.

Physical beauty is often very subjective. My Filipina is average looking(102lbs.) but she's a very kind and loving person, great cook and works 16 hrs. a day, thats what attracted me to her. I guess, my idea of a beautiful woman is one that doesn't remind me of an American woman.

To the original question:
Filipinas are overrated. The ones that look the best are mixed with Spanish, Chinese or European blood. Japanese, Chinese, Kazakh and Korean look 100 times better and it's not even close. Malaysian women look better than Filipinas too.

We're right in sync here, Pete. I'd say 20% look great also. But frankly I doubt the percentage is higher in the US, and most of those women are unavailable to most guys. And even if they were available - they are horrible!

I too agree about Vietnamese women being beautiful. But only a small percentage speak English and I am not motivated enough to take up Vietnamese.
