BLLLLRRRGGGHHH! Women just want a good-looking bad-boy to be romantic. If you're ugly or older, you might as well jump off a bridge (and SHE will tell you to your face).

I also agree on it, men is more romantic than girls, the way they act and they way they speak, that's why women fall in love with them.

Then how come movies always show the woman caring more about romance than the man does?
There are a couple of interpretations. The obvious one is that the movies pander to the mostly female audience by making them seem like the good guys. However, my interpretation is that females don't think about romance in the same way as they would like us to think they do. They would see the female as playing a cunning long-term game to ensnare some beta sucker (usually with a high income potential) who is so besotted with a BS idealized image of her that she will be able to spend all his money, get impregnated by alpha males on the side and a**-rape him in the divorce court in due course, and he will do nothing to defend himself. This is the mental image that females get teary eyed about when watching these films. Hence romance films are to females the equivalent of daring heist films - something like Oceans 11.

There is also a double standard. On Valentine's Day, a man is supposed to do something romantic for his sweetheart. But from what I see, the girl does nothing romantic for him. WTF?
In the Philippines, every girl says she is romantic. However, I never see them DOING anything romantic. So WTF does that mean? How can they be romantic if they don't do anything romantic for their man? It seems that they expect their man to do something romantic for them, but they do nothing romantic for him. WTF? Is that what being romantic means? Weird.

In traditional roleplay, men have to do a few romantic things to woo their ladies. What's so surprising about that?

I'm the first to admit that I'm as romantic as a turd on a wooden platter.
