Yes it would seem so.

I was using Oil of Olay moisturizer, and my acne was breaking out big time. I wouldn't think that a skin care product from a reputable company could be causing it. But it was. Once I stopped, the acne diminished to nearly nothing.

These chemicals could cause skin cancer too. After all, before they were invented, hardly anyone got skin cancer. The worst someone would get is sunburn.

What about facial cleansers?

I would recommend you all go to your local health store and get skin care products that have all natural ingredients. Try the "Yes to Carrots" products and the "Kiss my Face" all natural soaps.

I use Lemons as a cleanser and scrub. Peel the lemon, cut & rub it in a circular motion. It's like a wet brush.

Nature has everything.

Moisterise with Coconut oil, shea butter, coco butter, olive oil. Scented oils like lavender oil, or rosehip oil etc

Renata,
I followed your advice and tried olive oil on my face. Then I read in an ABC article that grape seed oil is supposed to be the best for the face. So I tried that and it really works great. It smooths my skin and makes it feel like new, without acne or oils. You should try grape seed oil sometime. It has no smell either, whereas olive oil has a smell like salad. lol

I heard that too. Grape seed oil & coconut oil are the best. I've never been able to get my hands on real grape seed oil. I learned the real deal is brown and thick & what we get is not pure. Even the oilve oil I used to buy in the UK wasn't real. The olive oil I get here is pure; it's very thick & smells strong, like oilves.

I wish it were as easy as looking but the names listed on the products can be disguised under many different names that we probably won’t even recognize.
