"Mean Girls" in the USA

Postby zboy1 » Sun Jul 07, 2013 9:08 pm

Here's an article from the Washington Post, about so called "mean girls" growing up.

What happens when mean girls grow up?

I would recommend that everyone watch "Mean Girls" starring Lindsay Lohan, and be shocked at the behavior of American teens in school. Even though it's not a true story, don't be mistaken that many American girls act like the people portrayed in the movie. Most American teens are influenced by these kinds of movies, and act accordingly.

To sum it all up: American women are horrible, especially when they're young.

Mean Girls used to be my favorite a few years back, just because of hilarity and some remarkable lines. Based on what I see from media, those behaviors are not so different from bullying in Asia and Europe. Some East Asian countries have their own "mean girls" too, only harsher (they could bully someone to death, literally).

But I think the "blondest girl" that Monika Shreves talked about grew up to be a nice person after all.

High school & College movies produced in US all have the same type of characters & the story lines are along the same lines.. could be the true nature & stiuations in schools.

Many (not all) US schools are zoos. Homeschooling is becoming more and more popular.
