When you live abroad, it is much easier to connect with people, you often feel much more at home and it is so much easier to meet women. It is possible to carry that open and carefree vibe with you wherever you go and to live in your own reality to connect effortlessly with people in your life even in North America. How you feel within yourself affects your reality.
These concepts are not new-age stuff. When Einstein said E=mc², he said that everything in the Universe is energy. Emotions are energies in motion so they affect the very fabric of the Universe through time and space. Scientists have even realized that emotions can alter your DNA. There are now cameras that can film your energy field. This is modern science. Emotions can have a very powerful impact on how you experience your life. Some people say that 94% of communication is non-verbal and this goes beyond body language. The exchange of emotions on a meta-physical level is a huge part of communication, especially in intimate relationships. You don’t have to be a victim of your emotions. You can take responsibility for how you feel. I’m not talking about positive thinking; I’m talking about positive feeling. It requires healing your past emotional pains that you still experience in the present and that affect every aspect of your life. Etienne"
This is HORRIBLE - especially the parts in bold. I read Winston's critique of "the secret" where Winston said there are limits to what you can do - you cannot walk through walls, no matter "how you feel within yourself."
In America I spent almost 100% of my spare time alone. Internet dating was a joke because every girl wants the same guy (& it wasn't me). Internet dating is also hopeless as Steve Hoca said in his new interview how men are not needed and there's so much contempt for men. Now what changed for me is I went overseas, & within 2 weeks of living in Russia I had more friends than 2 years of living in the USA. I have a relationship here & I'm about to get married so I never need to go back to the USA to live.
Clearly, if the problem was ME - how I'm FEELING, or my emotions, then I should have been treated the same in Russia as I was in the USA. Clearly, the problem wasn't me because I didn't change anything but my country.
So this kind of touchy-feely sort of stuff simply "blames the victim" = that you have to change your feelings to find love & friends. Sorry, its just another false paradigm.

I agree. In Russia after a few weeks I made more friends than I did in America too.
Obviously though, this "law of attraction" worked for Etienne, or he would not be promoting it. It must work for some people.
Like I said, it is not all powerful, and does not get you everything you want, but it does help some people. Maybe not us, but some people it does help.
Theoretically, according to the law of attraction if you could reprogram your subconscious mind for years with positive thoughts like "American people are friendly and open. American women are friendly and they like you." you might actually attract some positive American women into your life. But that's a big maybe. And I don't want to spend years trying to test that out.
Check out this research by Princeton which suggests that our mind does have a microscopic measurable statistically significant effect on the outcome of things.
Also, I read that it is well documented that SOME people have a bad effect on computers, where they will break every computer they use within a short period of time. Not physically. But something in their "vibe" or energy field seems to short circuit or break down computers. And this happens no matter where they are, and even when they are using brand new computers. It's a mystery, but it's a real effect.
The US Air Force even documented that some pilots will have a negative effect on their jet fighter's computer, which they can't control. But the effect is consistent, measurable and replicable.

You're right. It's like when we see a fly in our window, it wants to go out, and it will hit the window for hours until it dies. The fly doesn't realize the door is open one meter away. All it has to do is go left a meter and go through the door. We all tend to hit the same walls over and over again without ever realizing that the doors are open right next to us.
Besides, I don't believe in limits. Neither do I believe in perfection.

You're totally right, you're not the problem. What makes dating so hard in our Western Society is that the feminine energy is repressed, and women behave like men. You can get that off your shoulder, it's definitely not your fault. However, the solution has to come from yourself.
Traveling abroad is one of the best ways to improve your dating life, and I wouldn't be who I am today if I hadn't spend many years of my life in different countries.
I used to live with the same struggles as you do, but now I have several girlfriends wherever I go, even in Montreal. If I can do it, why couldn't you? Women from other countries are more fun to be with, but I select the few that are vibrant.
If you can get girls everywhere, even in America, why is it the same with everyone else?
I mean, I can beat the computer at chess up to level 4, whereas most cannot beat it at level 1, but that doesn't mean everyone can do what I do.
Doesn't your looks matter too? If I am way out of a girl's type range, she will not consider me no matter how much we have in common. I've seen it happen.

I'd love to live in Montreal. Before I discovered Europe and Latin America, every spring I would drive up to Montreal to meet women in bars and clubs for sex. Chances much better than outside quebec or USA in general.

Because 99% of people have no clue about how to connect with people and are too much in their head instead of being in their heart and body. Going from your head to your heart is probably the simplest and most difficult path in life.

Not everybody can do it because few people care about doing that. Anyone who really wants to do it can do it, when they find the proper resources to guide them.

Girls will reject you even if you are the right "type" anyway! Lots of great catches can't get a girl, so it doesn't really matter.
Yes look does matter, but it is merely an expression of yourself. If you feel good on the inside, you'll take care of your body and you'll look great. If you have a physical handicap, your character matters much more anyway.

I live in my own reality too, where I'm James Bond, but that doesn't mean that other people will treat me like James Bond. lol. So how do you get other people to treat you the way you see yourself in your reality?

The more comfortable people feel around you, the better they will treat you, it's that simple. The problem in the Western society is that many people are so disconnected that they can't feel you and they don't even know how they feel, but not everybody is that blind and I encourage people to surround themselves with quality people.
About the "how", it's a huge other topic, and you have to be open to the idea first as we could go very in depth.
