Another thing I notice: There are some cultures where women have a romantic/intimacy ideal aka the knight in shining armor willing to sacrifice everything for his love. In some there is a passion/desire ideal where it is recognized that part of what sparks intimacy. Here is an interesting talk on it...

Anybody here telecommuting in the IT industry abroad? How easy is it to do it? How much less do you make than if you didn't? Can you buy a home overseas without worrying about some government repossessing it if shit hits the fan?
