1. Nice guys' personalities don't always seem genuine.

Nice guys can be too nice. No one can always be that nice unless they're a saint. They are busy being nice instead of being real, and women instinctively don't trust that.

Bad boys "keep it real." Nice guys don't want to upset the apple cart.

2. Nice guys show a lack of self-respect.

No one respects a doormat. Nice guys don't set boundaries or make any real demands. A bad boy doesn't let a woman walk all over him or control him.

3. Nice guys can often be too predictable, which gets boring.

Most people lead boring, predictable lives, so they're attracted to people who are exciting and a bit unpredictable.

Why is this post funny? Its the truth.

Women also mistake nice or kindness for a weakness which is false. I speak truth to power all the time. Its part of the reason I'm unemployed. I'll say it again, how does a job expect somebody to survive in our economic system when you're automatically making less than you need to survive? Corporations and many medium sized companies JUST DON'T CARE!

So what you suppose to do? A typical so-called Alpha would say, "Hmmm" should I rob/steal or murder for money? People on Wall St stealing money are just as bad if not worst than some thug knocking over the corner store. Actually I would say its worst. If you rob 7-11, does the 7-11 Corporation go out of business? Does it fire thousands of people in the process? NO! But do electronic trading and all of a sudden somebody is poor, without a job, without a home or all the above.

Let's be honest most of the greatest people in our culture are not so-called Alpha Males, they seldom solve problems with intelligence. They solve them with violence which makes them PERFECT for Military Duty. Trying to integrate them back into society however is problematic...

Yes a friend of mine here in Thailand spent a long time cultivating the bad boy image in London. Even though he speaks fluent Thai and meant well he scared the girls trying to use the same tactic he'd use in London. He found that he had to develop a much nicer, feminine attitude. Don't get me wrong, the guy still needs to be more dominant than the woman but by western standards my friend would seem too nice. I am stumped as to why some women like bad guys. Don't know any myself who do, thank goodness- for the simple reason that no one in their right minds would want to share their life with someone, well, shit. Why would you?

If this helps people understand why the reasoning might be, fine- but no one should make the mistake that this is universal for all women or some sort of instinctive/biological pull. If it occurs, it's either cultural or the woman has issues- or both. It's not normal. It's normal to want a man who you like being with, who you feel comfortable around, who you can relax with, trust, etc. If I had a bad boy boyfriend I'd just feel on edge all the time and would be scared of letting him take control or make decisions, which goes against how things should be. If you want someone to fly a plane, you'd pick the good guy, not the nutter. It's counter=productive.

The only time I've heard of bad boys being attractive as partners are in desperate high-crime high-poverty areas where being on their side makes you feel safer than not being, and the girls involved are usually ghetto princesses themselves who have low self-esteem and envision no future.

Well, since most Anglo women are not nice and cannot think in the abstract, they think that 'nice guys' (not integrity-less doormats) are faking it.

This demonstrates how Anglo women think that relationships are a 'power struggle' - that one has to control the other, rather than working in tandem. Moreover, there is a difference between a 'nice guy' and a doormat. Doormats (like men who curry women's favour for sex or whatever else) have no integrity. Nice guys have too much integrity for the Anglo woman.

Predictable: Most people lead boring, predictable lives, so they’re attracted to people who are exciting and a bit unpredictable. Bad boys are always a challenge. Nice guys are never a challenge. Predictable + No excitement + No challenge = I prefer a bad boy.

This just shows how immature they are - life by itself is a challenge; you do not need more challenges for yourself. So cavorting with a deliberately difficult individual is stupid and self-destructive - just like an Anglo women.

I don't agree. I believe that 'bad boy'/'nice guy' dichotomy is about personality, not so much about appearance. Many bad boys do not take much pride in their appearance - even the 'hot ones' often look like they've taken too many steroids. Of course, to the masculine Anglobitch, that is 'hot'.

Well, men are much more straightforward than women are. In other words, they reveal their 'true colours' relatively quickly. This makes me believe that Anglo women are attracted to them more because their personality matches their own (mean, self-destructive and selfish). Birds of a feather flock together; ergo, the woman falls in love with these troglodytes. The 'charm' thing is a cop-out; nice guys can be charming as well (but in a different way).

However, I must ask you this: what about the people who are financially or situationally unable to travel, even though they may want to?

My first trip to South America was as an enlisted solider in the military. In 1997 I was making a whole $1200 a month. I saved and kept my costs low and eventually I was able to get to Ecuador.

Now, if a broke ass soldier like myself managed to pull it off, who cant?
