Hi there,

In the opinion of this forum, what is currently the best spot in Asia to meet the good types of women as described in happier abroad? Along with the best lifestyle? Philipines? Thailand? somewhere else? I have wanted to go to East Europe for a long time but an opportunity arose for me to travel here so I am going with it...I may even pull the trigger and get married if the opportunity arises.

I am a white American currently in Taipei, Taiwan. Been here for just over 1 week and I like it so far. But I want to explore other areas as well and I am trying to decide where I should go next. I have a return trip ticket to the USA but I don't want to go back to that way of life.

Stay right where you are if you want to meet good types. Approach girls you like on the MRT, buses, bookstores, college campuses, etc. during the day. At night, hit the clubs in Vieshow area or the ones around Shi Da. When you find someone you click with, date her a few times and if its going well, invite her to go with you on a nice trip to Thailand which is a more exotic and fun place to hang-out and have fun IMO.

Is there a smooth way of inviting them back to your hotel/apartment? Any words of wisdom?

Also, recommended cheap date places?

If you have must have 1 night stands, certain pubs in areas I mentioned below are best bet. Go for the slutty ones or the ones who come-on to you first. If they go back with you, they'll prolly put-out. Word of caution if you go to expat clubs for the more mature - Carnegies or Ziga Zaga - make sure the girl is not a hooker cus there are a few who linger in those places. Generally I don't recommend P4P in Taiwan unless you're a high roller who can easily afford the higher-end clubs where the real hotties work. Even then, you would probably get more bang out of your buck in Taichung (or most of China) vs. Taipei.

For girls you meet out in normal places during the day, you might get away with inviting her back to your place to watch a DVD, show her your pet dog/cat, cook for her, etc. That tends to work if the girl is digging you right off the bat (usually easy to tell) or extremely curious but maybe cautious (not always as easy to tell). But just because she comes back to your place does not guarantee full-on sex. She might just allow a make-out session or not even that. Don't push beyond her comfort zone.

Personally, I prefer taking it slower - getting her number, having a few conversations on the phone and/or dates, and if both sides are comfortable, working it into intimacy. The process can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks or more. But when it happens under these circumstances, it doesn't seem as random or strange.
