And you thought you were racist...

You'd be blown away by the racism some cultures demonstrate.

For example, many Russians won't even talk to you if you aren't Russian. And no, it's not enough that you are "european". Fact.

Like it or not. That is reality. Ethnocentrism is reality.

Just think about that next time you venture to another country.

And there are reasons for that. For example, first cases of AIDS in the Soviet Union were registered from prostitutes who served African clients in Moscow. HIV/AIDS is still most rampant in Africa, so if you are black, don't be surprised if you are looked upon with suspicion. Besides some women just want their own race, it is very understandable.

Russians are very tired of immigrants coming in and taking their jobs or just simply "invading" the country. Please keep in mind that Russians live in Russia. Do you remember the reaction of Native Americans to white invasion during the creation of the U.S.A.? They were not to happy about it, huh? White people coming and taking away their land, food, cattle, women etc. Well, Russians may feel the same way. Russia was invaded hundreds of times during its history, enemies were always around. Remember that around 30 million (sic!) Russians (or rather citizens of USSR) died during World War II. Nothing compared to other Allies.

I think no nationalism is good, but Russian racism was always there. Russia was always a country of white Slavic people with ethnic minorities that primarily live in Siberia and Caucasus region.

Immigrants are like cancer, starts off slowly but eventually spreads and kills you..look at what happened to North and South America, Australia; France is almost there,Germany and UK are not far behind....
