This has been emailed to Winston and Repatriate in case I am banned again. Hopefully a few people will get a chance to read this. Moderators also please note: I am not cloaking my screen name with a new one. Anything I have posted on this forum since I began has been from GuitarGuy998, GuitarGuy997, and Guitarguy996. I’m not a troll in hiding. I want you to be able to identify me.

It seems as though I was counted among the numbers of those trolling. I try to encourage friendly debate but noticed that there were a few who were trolling, particularly Konrad. I had corresponded with him via PM a few days prior, and was about to offer him some friendly advice. In an internet newsgroup AND in real life, there are diplomatic ways of disagreeing with someone. “Declaring warâ€￾ on someone or an entire forum is in not exactly friendly debate. I mean this with no disrespect to Konrad, or anyone else banned. AND while I wholeheartedly disagree with most of the stuff that Martianmay posts, I do not think he is a troll in any way, shape, or form.

Yes, I've contributed to a few debates on this forum. Yes, I've been debating. There is an entire philosophy section in this forum. If you asked Socrates, Plato, or Aristotle today, they would say that debate is the best way to arrive at truth. It must be done so in a respectful way and we must avoid ad hominem attacks, but any forum that doesn’t allow debates is a cheese forum. That’s right, a cheese forum.

If the mods are reasonable, I ask to be re-included in this forum. If I can get any support from members as well that would be great.

Ok. Sorry for the trouble. I've already asked Repatriate to give you another chance. You do seem like a nice sincere guy.

I DO NOT think you should have been banned! I thought your posts where well-written, and thought-provoking at times.



WE really need to learn to discern between people like OTA(or illiganbound or whatever) and Guitar Guy. I don't even think billy should have been banned BUT I understand why he was.

Also..hopefully you didn't ban the Arab because I enjoy his posts, even if I disagree. I feel the same way about obdo.

OTA was just a shit starter, adding NOTHING to the discussion except for his religious mania and complete lack of intelleigence on how to debate and function in a civilized society. Trying to set yourself up on some mythical "throne" and cast judgment on others, is a clear sign of advanced NPD, add religious zealotry and raged-filled violence and you have a very dangerous, psychotic individual. I almost feel like a person like him is someone you would read about in the news, posting his suicide message on facebook and then going on a shooting spree! Next time, ban the person IMMEDIATELY! Free speech has little to do with racial insults and threats of violence.

billy was just airing his views.......a little crass at times I admit, BUT Winston seemed to really have a problem with him.

I am glad billy was banned! His posts were a complete mess! No decent advice, no decent information.

Since I have lived overseas for years, and I am married to a foreign woman, I should be banned immediately.

All newfags that have never left their mothers basement, but tell cool stories, should all be promoted to moderators.
