...of people having a pet peeve about family members whom show up to their abode unannounced.
In Western and/or American, it's seen as being discourteous and disrespectful.
Is this an integral part of cultures around the world? Please pardon my ignorance in advance.
On the contrary, are there cultures in which a family member would show up unannounced and there
are absolutely no qualms no bones about it?
