True democracy does not even exist on a national level. People collectively rule in democracy and oe might argue that it exists in some small tribal contexts, but that system does not govern ANY country.

The USA and many other countries are republics, not democracies. However, democracy is seen as a positive term and since our system of government is loosely based on some concepts of democracy, the term sticks around. I also believe the term is promoted to give the people a false sense of control over government.

Governments will become smaller and less intrusive as time goes on. The costs of maintaining equality are unsustainable so there will be a paring back of government services in coming decades.

Whether this will be good or bad depends on the education and social savvy of the population. It stands to be disastrous in the USA because of the general lack of knowledge and sophistication of Americans. Other countries stand to do better however.

So what does this mean for feminism? The future is not clear because feminism has been encoded in federal, state and local laws. Seminal court cases have solidified the concept too. Feminism therefore became institutionalized in the US while henpecked politicians slept at the wheel. Feminism is going nowhere anytime soon in the USA.

When Republicans began to chip away at feminism during the last election cycle, feminists stirred up hysteria and Republicans were routed in the elections. The lesson is, politically, feminism is unassailable.

The only hope is to starve it of funding and stigmatize it as a practice, long shots in both cases.

The only surefire way to destroy feminism in the USA is a full tilt "reset." The country must be rebuilt from the bottom up where male physical labor and physical protection are again key. The scenarios I envision in that context would be economic meltdown or military destruction after invasion or attack.


Not saying this is likely to happen, just saying that is the only way to see feminism defeated. The cherished baby must be thrown out with the dirty bathwater to defeat it.

Yea, America MUST be destroyed, that is the only hope.

The problem with modern democracy is women voters. Before women were given the vote, democracy worked just fine. Almost any system of government is better than one dominated by women voters.
