I have some done research online regarding one night stands and hookups in America. The research shows most men LIE about having one night stands and hookups just to impress their friends.

Don't believe all the things you see and hear on movies and TV shows in the US that hookups occur for every guy, they are actually quite rare. It's estimated that 50% of men who say they have had a ONS or hookup are lying.

When most guys go to bars and clubs, they just talk to their friends, have a few drinks and maybe talk to a few girls. Most guys don't even get any phone numbers let alone sex. Of course these same guys will lie to their friends and say, "oh yeah, Saturday night I took this hot girl home and banged the crap out her."

I'd like a source to that research jamesbond, to have more concrete arguments.

Yes, SOME men lie about hookups. But then again, these same men lie about practically EVERYTHING. There are those that just feel the need to "lie to make friends". These men can be figured out in just a short while....doesn't take long to catch them in their lies. I've lived in Vegas and worked the nightlife in the past for many years and I know just how easy it is to hook up with women in nightclubs. It was my preferred place as it was very easy. I wasn't a tourist though...I knew people in practically every club on the strip. I never had to wait in a line or pay entry fees as I was "Industry". I could hang out with a group of people I knew any night. That made it easy to meet girls, who were very open to having sex once they got a few drinks in them. I was also a nightclub bartender at one of the biggest clubs on the strip. I can't tell you how many times I got phone numbers (or hotel room numbers) on credit card receipts and bar napkins that I never asked for. I wasn't anything that special either...most guys in my position (connected in the Industry) could do the same regularly.

You would, however, be correct if you stated that a minority of men actually hook up at a club, especially guys that come alone...without a girl with them. You will see guys with girls practically having sex on the dance floor and then leave to go to a hotel room. This isn't particularly rare. Guys will pick up drunk girls at the bar. They will invite them over to their tables to drink for free and then take them home. These things definitely DO happen. However, if you haven't positioned yourself and/or you aren't attractive...don't expect to get anywhere. Clubs are loud and you won't be wooing any girl with your chit chat. If mutual attraction isn't fairly immediate, you aren't likely to score. I'm talking about clubs in the USA. I have no experience with clubs abroad...

It happens WAY less than it does in places in Europe, Japan, Canada and Latin America.

It's very Puritanical here when it comes to sex in America.

Only the extremely top guys who have good social connections, are alpha males, guys who have mastered PUA, look like models(very built or ripped like a top class athlete) and/or lots of money are going to get laid regularly at clubs.

Club hookups happen much more often overseas than in America.

Either become one of the top 10 percent of men by increasing your wealth or getting ripped or just go overseas.

Considering that every single female here is now a raging slut and empowered by society to be that way, I'm not sure "Puritanical" is the word I'd choose to describe it...

For 80+ percent of the guys here it's a famine. For females and the top <20 percent of guys it's a nonstop orgy that would put Caligula to shame.

Just because you have some nymphos scattered here and there doesn't mean the society can't be influenced by Puritanism, meaning that it's way easier for most guys to have club hookups outside of America.

Besides, the women you just described still want the top 10 percent of men.

Studies show that Americans have less sex compared to many places in the world.

Besides, there's really nothing we can do about it but change ourselves.

It's the same as the greater dating scene. The average guys don't get much, but the good-looking alphas are on top and on top of many women.

I cringe when I hear the word "Hookup" associated with countries outside of America. I guess it's because I have no interest in casual sex and want a girl as pure as possible, preferrably a virgin. But certainly not a club sloot. So in the back of my mind, when I see people say "more hooking up going on abroad" I automatically think that implies that there are more sluts abroad, which is no bueno.

But I guess the point you're making there Silver is that abroad, if you want a club hookup you'll get a club hookup. If you want a pure good girl, you'll get a pure good girl. There's more than enough interested girls in both categories to go around... yes?

So to summary this up ,


America has more easy sluts than other countries, but only want 20% of men.

While, overseas less sluts but still attainable.

It's the same overseas, but in many places, being the right kind of foreigner can get you points, so even if you were seen as a scumbag in your home country, you automatically become part of the top 20% in your new host country. See White guys that go to SEA for further details.

Yes, puritanism is alive and well in America and American married couples do have less sex than anyone else in the world!

Yep and trust me that the Puritanical attitudes spills over into the dating scene as well in America.

Women are way more liberal minded when in comes to sex in Europe, latin America and Japan than in America, it's no comparison.
