The K-1 Visa and the 90-day no fault marriage

Post by davewe »

Occasionally there are discussions and info on the K-1 process and the 90 days till marriage. Here's my take and experience. Definitely not a reality TV show.

...I really want to add that the purpose of the piece was not in any way to discourage anyone.

Sure discouraged ME!

After I read your blogpost, I totally took the Phils off my list, period.

Then I remembered that I don't live in the US anymore...

Jester:

While most of my blog pieces are about the Philippines or Filipinas, this was just about the K-1 process. It's just as difficult and stressful in most places. I think it is more than worth it, but I know too many Americans who think it was so easy for my wife to come to the U.S. and even a few guys who think it's a piece of cake to get their gfs a Visa. It just isn't so.
