Winston seems to be quite short. Maybe he and the other short folks amongst you should take a run at politics.

btw if short men are the people who rule the world are they then the cause of the current troubles?

I'm about 5'3" and I don't rule shit. Thing is though, I don't figure "ruling" is such a good alignment of situations. Sure, someone might be something of a strategist (that's what a leader is, basically) but it shouldn't be any kind of hi-jacking or substitution. This is just having an enemy in a position to sabotage lots of things & having more resources to do it with than they would have by themselves. It doesn't make sense to incorporate an enemy into your band/tribe/pack, anyway.

Interestingly, this is the style with wolves. Despite the idea that the alpha male is basically a tyrant, they TEND to be the one that works best for that position & keeps the pack out of the most shit. Keep in mind that animals CAN think, but for various reasons started to be seen as mindless & without any capacity for deduction. Sometimes the evidence doesn't match the model someone came up with, so it gets disregarded.
