If pr@stitution was legal in US, how would your life change?

If it were legal, meaning that there were both br@thels and esc@rts, all over the country, just like it is in Australia, New Zealand, & Holland, this is what I would have done ...
After breaking up with the 2nd AW girlfriend back in college, I would have started to go to br@thels and thrown myself 100% into work and extra studies, without ever looking back.
I think that would have been it. I probably would not have traveled abroad, aside from a few sightseeing trips and so on.
But yeah, Mel and I would probably still have found each other. This time, however, I'd suspect that we'd have met up at a Boston br*thel, coveting the same b@@bs on a gal.

Wow, I didn't even know it was illegal there. Here in Australia it's legal. It's only legal here because the government profits off it.
Anyway I have considered going to a professional brothel before and had the money. But for some reason I just never went though with it because it felt pathetic and a failure to have to pay for it.

Well, once it's legal and no longer a clandestine operation, then prices will fall, as there are countless women in this country, who don't want to work a regular job of any sort.
If I recall correctly, some years back, there were quite a number of average looking gals in Australia, offering for under $80/hr, though don't expect anything good until you're at $180/hr (or above) zone.
So for a lazy woman, who's no better than a '5' and doesn't want to wake up in the morning to work at a laundry facility, she can line up 10 clients per week and earn $40K/yr, working a quarter of the time as a regular person in the service sector.
My only concern for a govt subsidy is that someone may pocket the money and not offer any services. Other than that, I'm all for it.

Yes, in America, it's only legal in some desert counties in Nevada. Everywhere else, there are non-stop constant vice squad sting operations in effect, as if we don't have real criminals out there.

I'd been to several in the Sydney area and they were great. Sorry to be blunt but why does one need to waste that much time/money, attempting to serenade a women, who's a 7.5 to 10, just for a chance for her to stick you a false rape charge later? See you, at a Sydney brothel, you bo*nk an '8' and you never have to deal with her again. That's better, in my book.

WTF is this government subsidy BS. We don't get subsidies to go to brothels here in Australia. The government in fact makes money off the brothels that have to comply with the governments set rules of testing and other things. The prices at the brothel I was going to go to were not that low, It was still $100 for 20 minutes.
Maybe brothels should have a membership like you can get at the cinema. lol.
Or maybe the government should have some rebates for first time brothel clients. lol

That was Ghost's idea.
But there are independents, who advertise in the paper & online, who're not associated with a brothel's outcall service.
And in that independent market, I'd seen lower end women in the $80 category.
A woman who's a 4 or 5 isn't getting hired by a Stiletto's ...

Yes you are 100% right. I probably wouldn't go near independents because of the fear of an STD because they aren't tested. They may as well be some street hooker nearly.

All and all, there's something for every strata because unlike me, some other guy may be fine with a '4' or a '5'.
Personally, I hadn't had below a '7.5' in Australia and I don't intend to get started any time soon
When I was in Sydney, there were times when I was working 70-90 hours per week. I clearly had neither the time nor the gumption to take a hot date to the Cliffs of Manly, some boating cruise, or a Blue Mountain's retreat, as a way of getting her to like me. And trust me, women who look like the gals at Stiletto do expect you to take 'em around, esp when you can expense most of the trip. It's not free s*x by any means. And then, you have to figure out how to dump her w/o her going ballistic.

There would be less shootings and men in America would be more relaxed.
But hey, if prostitution was legal in America, Winston's website probably wouldn't exist.

In RI between I think 1980 and 2003, indoor prostitution was decriminalized -
http://youtu.be/-AHCuOUCyok?list=UU1yBK ... M73A0ZjYjQ
Reported rapes dropped by 31%, as soon as the restriction was re-instated, rapes spiked back to pre-legalization norms.
Rape is not even an issue in countries were it's legal. Just as illegal drug use is much lower in countries it's been legal than in the US.
Prices would fall because the market would be flooded with women, not just from the US but abroad given our 90 day Visas available to many countries.
Prices would drop from brothel norms of $300-$1000 down to about $100 per hour session, which is about the norm in the EU. Street Walkers legal in countries like Germany as well. Prices range from 50E to 100E, while escorts range from 100E-200E.
Because of exchange rates, prices in SEA and Latin America will remain low, but again because of legalizing it in America, many woman from those countries might choose to tour EU and America to earn money and go back to their home countries to have a normal life.
In otherwords it would impact the mid-range and high end markets overseas.

So you're thinking that it'll be even cheaper than in Australia, where pretty much, anything goes. The Sydney & Melbourne vice squads actually go after real traffickers and drug runners, not ppl posting or answering esc*rt ads.
Well, one thing's for certain, you won't be hearing of guys at engineering colleges, like MIT or Georgia Tech, killing themselves because they couldn't get laid after studying 100 hours.
One guy I heard about, up in McGill Univ Montreal, would study hard and then, b*ink an esc*rt, and go right back to studying. He'd finished his PhD at the age of 24.

Does this post mean you're trying to reach 1,000 post??? Otherwise there was no need to post here if you have no opinion and don't use this because of your obsession with virginity.

Largely all sorts of events or what some will call unintended consequences would happen, most positive, almost none negative unless you're a neo-feminist of course.
