Like some, I'm stuck kind of at this point. You either go for the American Way (which is under a kind of extinction) or you don't. I'm kind of working toward transition, but keeping it in the back of my mind while I do it; so I don't have to think about it.

This country is hard charging, you are either successful or you aren't. It's an attitude shift. Many people just don't care - I feel those would be the better ones abroad. But, if you buckle down, I mean really buckle down and change attitude, to really adopt the attitude of here - you will be successful. It's this hard charging, self - focused, positive traditional American attitude (which is under attack). They claim it's not, but now they're injecting some strange form of equality, socialist attitudes (Which doesn't make any sense/is severely weakening) and this sense of victimhood and chronic-entitlement. Of course now there's Socialism - there's tons and tons of people who aren't adopting this dream. So, in that way - is it really realistic to expect that out of all 350 million people will all be winners?
They're really putting the kibosh on everything now, it's kind of crazy. ... You're either out there in the traditional sense - or you are nothing here. That is the truth, don't be in the middle just waiting around for nothing and being a loser. I've had to take a serious attitude adjustment myself; so I know how it is.

An honest assessment is that, i's not going to work. We've too many weakening influences which most of us have grown up with; ie internet, chat forums (in which it's easy to complain), Facebook (meant to bring in Communism/Socialism), a cross boundary victim-culture, horrible education environments where they don't foster "Success" but talk down about corporations, finding work, and money or success. It's really a mess.
Unless you want to work for a corp. like Google, where you'll be their b*tch and lose yourself anyway - always having to be a cardboard cutout slave and not think for yourself, or be a teacher in Academia.
People are just not making it anymore.

There are too many conflicting forces at play, for a successful country. You can still do it, you'll just be going upstream from the mass of swathing idiots who can't tell right from left anymore.

The leaders in eastern europe are more conservative. They have enough sense to keep the radical islamists out by denying the ISIS-infiltrated refugees (unlike liberal western europe who suffer rapes and attacks every other day). Of course the women are by far the main reason to consider going there. I remember an exchange student while I was in school. I figured since she was so attractive, she would be snotty and arrogant like the locals. One day, I accidentally stepped on her foot and SHE apologized before I could. She told me I looked familiar and I told her I was in her english class. We had a long conversation (which she started) that boggled my mind. I wasn't used to having a pretty girl speaking to me... voluntarily. I was so accustomed to girls being such a$$holes towards guys who aren't wearing the latest jordans, Penny hardaways, jason kidds, deions, And 1, FUBU, nautica, polo...expensive clothes/shoes you wouldn't normally see an unemployed 12 year old wearing. This was only a couple years before the full blown introduction of the internet and the ever increasing knowledge of the differences between western women and eastern women. If I knew then what I know now .... holy $hit; my life would've been so much better and less frustrating. I would've written my thesis on the differences between westerners and easterners. Who gives a $hit if the girls get offended. "As of right now, all of you a$$holes are obsolete, and I urge all the boys to understand that asap" would've been my conclusion.

Reading this makes me sad, honestly, reading shit like this makes me so damned depressed I can barely stand it. Because I'm here, and there's nothing I can do about it. Passing me by, Its so unjust. And all of these people will never know anything about it. That's the hardest thing.
If you tell them or try to tell them about it, you'll just get the usual made fun of ridicule/ insults and put downs, to you, or people telling you to "shape up" and that's its Your fault - like Winston says always.
God, this is the worst thing.
It's nearly easier not to even think about it.
