Filipino Internet Sucks! Any ideas?

Im finding in Davao that my mobile internet is very patchy and unreliable, which is a bit of disappointment since im using globe
The internet cafe and not so much the hotel seems to have a basic connection, but my hotel is at a whopping 0.34 mbps
Any suggestions on reliable high speed internet? Pretty important since much of my business is e-based
Would be cool if its possible to get some high speed satellite or remote internet product, just for the novelty of running things from a tropical island for a few weeks
