Anyone who has been to the Middle East knows they have some seriously restrictive laws when it comes to socializing and mingling. For example, in Saudi Arabia;
-It's illegal for unrelated men and women to mingle. No exceptions. Even restaurants are divided into separate sections for married couples, single men, and single women to prevent mingling. Violations are automatic jail.
-Women are forbidden to drive or operate anything with wheels, including bicycles.
-Public displays of affection are illegal and punishable by automatic jail for all involved.
-A man hugging a woman whom he is not married to will easily get both of them accused of adultery, which in Saudi Arabia, is punishable by decades in prison and/or the death penalty.
-Even when it's 120 degrees outside with 100% humidity, it's illegal to wear shorts and short sleeves in Saudi Arabia; men are required to wear thoubs and turbans, women are required to wear abayas and burqas and are required to be covered from the cheeks all the way down to the ground. Jail awaits all violators.
Those exact laws are shortly coming to the United States of America!
Already in the United States;
-Hugging in a rapidly growing number of schools is landing students in detention.
-Men are forbidden to ask a woman out and are forbidden to approach, court, or pursue any woman.
-A rapidly growing number of schools, nightclubs, and even bars in the United States are putting new dress codes in place, banning shorts and short sleeves, most of them are even going formal.
-Even Covid vaccinated people are required to wear masks in many places per Federal law.
