Perhaps this is one way they will communise the housing stock. They will forbid evictions since everyone can't pay and then say to landlords "No problem - if you're losing money Blackrock will take the property off your hands".

Let's be honest, private property atleast in regards to land,is parasitical theft.

if land were not privatized, people could build a small adobe, bamboo or rv house in the land and not pay rent.

rent is theft.and parasitical, the owner does nothing but 'own'the land under some dumb feudal contract.

The elite still want the land to be private, but just all belonging to them.

imagine feudal land laws from europe being abolished worldwide, with some regulations for protecting animals and nature etc

And then cold fusion becoming a thing, for energy.

This new fact doesn't surprise me at all given the factors of inflation, increased demand for housing, and the lack of available affordable units. According to realtor.com, the average cost of a one-bedroom apartment in the U.S. was $1,876 per month as of June 2022. And to make matters worse, many landlords now will not accept any new tenants unless they are making 3 times the rent. For example, if an apartment goes for $1,500 a month, then the new applicant must bring at least $4,500 per month in income!!! The landlords are now making this requirement to ensure tenants don't come up short on paying rent. Also, the big shift in the real estate/realtor market from a "mom and pop" to a more corporate ownership of rental and housing units is another factor contributing to unaffordable housing crisis. Which means when corporations like Blackstone can buy up housing units, they can have a monopoly. Thus, driving up the costs (or "charge what the market could bear").
So, in response to being priced out of the American Dream, many more people in the U.S. are looking to move abroad PERMANENTLY to find a better quality of life. Places such as Portugal, Thailand, the Philippines, Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Ghana are becoming popular destinations for either a new home and/or retirement. Not to mention all of these countries have a lower cost-of-living, warmer climate, cheaper quality healthcare, healthier natural food, beautiful beaches (where you can purchase a condo for less than in the U.S.), and a slower pace/less stressful lifestyle (escaping the "rat race").
