There was a recent news item in many of our papers in England that said men are better than women at judging if someone is trustworthy or a good person.

Now this is not scientific and I'm making no claims but see if you agree with me on these : -

Good/Honest



Bad/Not trustworthy






Now the last 2 pictures are of my ex from Yoshkar-Ola. I should have used my instincts and seen that she has quite a bitchy face. But of course I was blinded by the blue eyes, the long legs and the mini skirt (which she refused to wear for me even on my birthday)

Are there any you've found that set you thinking?

More or less agreed.

But Im mostly going by the 'laugh bags' or 'laugh lines' under the eyes.

This is a good 'gateway test' but no where near perfect I suppose.

There might be something to what you're saying. The one in the good column from afa tours I'd be cautious about, though. I am not sure what or why, but I would be. The ones in the bad category-igve me a strange vibe except your ex--she just looks unhappy.

But I think overall, it can be hard to make a judgement about someone on the basis of 1 photo.

Most of my first impressions about people tend to be right. Even on Dateline NBC they found that first impressions are correct 60 to 70 percent of the time. There are little things that give away a person's character and disposition. The girls in the good category above have a warm smile and disposition. If I met them in person, it's very likely that they will turn out the way I expect.

I find that women who are spiritually attuned or balanced are a good judge of character as well. But if she has issues and is messed up herself, her judgment is not very good.
