Here's a fascinating news report which describes how the US is losing power and influence in the world and how the Arab states, Iran, Russia, and China are gaining power. Part 1 compares the decline of the US to the fall of the Ottoman Empire. Part 2 is especially interesting because it talks about how Iran, Russia, and other oil-producing countries have started pricing their oil in Euros and other foreign currencies, which weakens the US dollar.
