Young fairly attractive Thai girls just don't show up in cities in Taiwan, HK, Singapore, Korea, or Japan for no reason. Either she's related to a Taiwanese or she's a working girl. There's very little probable in between. If her mandarin is that heavily accented i'm betting it's the latter. Another possibility is that she's the daughter of a long term Thai national who's a resident in Taiwan but then her mandarin would certainly be better if that were the case.Winston wrote: She spoke some Mandarin, but it was in a foreign accent and was hard to understand. But she can write text messages in English. I don't know if she's a KTV girl, but there are hardly any KTV's in Chiayi. The ones I knew closed down for some reason.
I asked her how she came to Taiwan and what she does for work here, but she was a bit evasive.
So Thai girls are generally easy to make eye contact with and start conversations with?
She looks very young to me..probably early 20's. I'm guessing she's some kind of freelancer or working under someone as an escort/cheer/party girl. The fact that you saw her hanging around a bunch of VIP older men seems to confirm that.
Her reluctance to say what she's there for says a lot and that picture of her gal pals all dressed up like that seems to be a pretty big indicator of what she does.
