Well supposedly Lennon had a soulmate connection with her. That's why. A connection like that can only be understood by the couple involved in it, as they say. However, if you check Yoko's background she came from a shady Japanese family with shady elite connections so she could have been part of Intelligence operations and a witch too, who hypnotized Lennon. There's a lot of stories that say that Yoko was his handler and controlled him.

She may have been in on faking his death too. Because at the hospital, when Lennon's body was brought him, the doctor and nurse said it looked nothing like Lennon. Then they found his wallet on his body and Yoko came and identified him. How could she identify him the body if it didn't look like him? That's peculiar and suspicious and so she may have been in on some kind of deception. Keep in mind that public did not see Lennon's body and he had no public funeral. So there are question marks all over this.
