The FACT is, both Thailand and Philippines are corrupt third world countries with corrupt, immoral, violent sociopaths running them --- do not kid yourself that "human nature" is somehow different in these places. Think of all the sick and murderous schemes the US and local governments get away with in abusing people here --- now you can multiply it many times in these turd world "nations" because the fact their police can simply get away with it much more easily. They are run on an ethnic basis, and not highly compartmentalized and scientifically managed like US police and government (this is really the only thing that holds the US police from being much more abusive than they are). Murder farang? Who cares, police turn a blind eye and chuckle to themselves a little. Dead porniner? Same thing, PNP justs laughs, and in most cases, PROFITS along with the gangs that are doing the scams and murder.

You have to consider, dudes are thinking with their dicks and not taking proper security precautions when traveling. Hell, most idiots out there are very naive to the danger that they can face in any potential situation and just glibly coast along in life, trusting everyone. Western sex tourist is an EASY mark for potential criminals. Criminal gangs could have scouts on sex tourism boards where the potential tourist thinks he is in likeminded company, and the tourist will even take very bad and dangerous travel advice. I commonly see advice from people advocating cities that are on Mindanao Island, which has a US State Department travel advisory right now due to kidnappings. You will see advice that recommends many cities on Mindanao because other Cities in the Philippines are "played out". LOL, yah played out for the criminals that is. LOL. Mindanao is much safer for criminals to murder chump westerner with swollen blue balls and take his stash of hooker money.

Fact is, it is easy for Criminal gangsters to scout out potential marks travel plans also by employing decoy honeys to chat up the sucker mark. Then DETAILED and SPECIFIC plans about the marks travel can be gained. After that, it is EASY for the gangsters to have scouts watch the mark arrive and observe to be wary of potential set up, potential body guards, and just size the marks true vulnerability up overall. That is not SPECIFICALLY related to sex tourism, but my point is, it is easy for gangsters to monitor and set up a mark just the same way. Those guys had spies waiting at the airport for their victim to show up, then they radioed to their accomplices that everything was set to go. The fact is, a sex tourist that is distracted with sweet dreams of pinay punani will be carrying cash or some form of negotiabile instrument (check, card, etc). Carrying money in the form of negotiables does not make you safe. They could simply threaten to cut your f***ing balls off if you don't give up the PIN for the ATM card or sign over the check or whatever, then send their bait woman to go cash out your accounts. If the baitgirl calls back about any trouble, guess what would happen to your balls? Bye bye nuts. But anyway, even if they would be able to cash out your accounts with no problem, they would probably still just cut your nuts off anyway just for kicks.

This all sounds far fetched to the naive, but this is NOTHING in the underground world of crime, especially turd world crime. To me, it is really naive to believe that Philippino gangsters (this includes police, PNP) just glibly accept foreign assholes f***ing and chucking their women, using printed toilet paper federal reserve notes. They know finance and money is a scam to f**k them over (just like everyone else these days), and face it they are MEN who are naturally going to resent seeing their women's attention go to others just because they have funnymoney. I think lots of guys buy into the whole sex tourism dream because really they don't respect that Philippinos and Thais are men that can fully understand the world and events around them --- it is tempting to many to think they are naive because their nation is less advanced, or that their IQ is on average lower, and so forth. The IQ thing might be true for Filipinos(I don't know what it is in Thailand, but probably not much higher), but just because individual IQ is low does not mean they cannot communicate with each other about what they observe and thereby come to a greater understanding than any one low IQ individual has. They are not going to remain oblivious forever, even with low IQ. It is not rocket science to come to terms and see that they are being cuckholded as a group, something which is against primal instinct. So to think that Filipinos just like being cuckholded as a group because foreigners bring money is completely ridiculous IMHO.

Also, let me ask --- if you were walking through a "hood" in a city in the USA, would you feel safe carrying a breifcase with $50,000 USD or so in cash and having people know about this? You would certainly be robbed and murdered, and you KNOW it. Well, that is the same scenario you put yourself in when you tell people you don't really know and can't trust (and who probably will not be caught) about your travel plans and money. The baitgirl KNOWS you will have at least a couple of thousand in USD, which is easily a years salary for average filipino (hence why I compare it to $50k USD if carried in a vulnerable way in dangerous areas in the USA). It is NAIVE to think that sex tourism is NOT a scam perpetrated by criminal GANGSTER SYNDICATES as a cash cow industry.

Anwyay, I won't even get started on Thailand, but its pretty much the same story. You see them try to be cute and claim "Farang got depressed and jumped off building --SUICIDE!!". This is really stupid to believe in these silly little suicide stories. The guys are tossed off the buildings and you know it. Right after they get robbed of their savings by gangsters and their baitgirl skanks.

Lots of foreign Ignorant naive women travel to India to see Taj Mahal aka Tourist Trap aka Bait...Only to be raped and murdered. Last year itself, many foreign women were raped and murdered in India while on an exotic journey to Asia.

I doubt IQ thingy because I feel western folks are far more stupid than avg. Asians simply due to the ease of access they have to technology. All they have to do is Google and find out whats happening but they don't do it. I mean they are far more educated than avg. Asians plus 90% of stuff online is in English not in Thai or Tagalog. One wrong move, One bad day and its all over here...I'm in the Ph now from India one hell to another...Ph is far more dangerous as the country is small with guns everywhere and the good and bad vibes gets spread out quite faster...Just this week, a millionaire hotel owner, a famous race car driver were shot dead...Since, I came to Manila couple of weeks back, I have counted 20 drive shootings in Manila and other cities and not even a single suspect caught...most of the time its the cops, working on the side as hired gun....Its very very easy to terminate someone in the Ph....You piss off any guy and next thing you know, folks are trailing your move...and these are just stats of local Filipino guys ...

Last week, a Chinese tourist was mugged on her way to QC. Few weeks before my travel, there was a drive by shooting were in couple of Chinese and Taiwanese businessmen were shot dead. Avoid Quezon City. Its a complete law less place.

Just read pattayaone news on one small city in Thailand and the number of foreigners being killed there..If this many number of Thai and Filipino started dying in the west, there would be call from UN to investigate....CNN and Fox will go crazy on high number of tourist death in western countries. In Asia, no one cares with truck loads of foreigners dying.

Your whole DNA changes once you are born in a third world country....Its pure survival, majority cannot go further, without scamming or cheating someone along the way. The more good you are, the worse the road ahead...The road is narrower to climb up the social ladder in third world than the west. You need to be an extreme d**ck to be a bad guy in the west. In third world...even good guys slip away further down the road.

The whole government, cops in the west are also corrupt but not everyone has an eye over you..In Ph...you become the center of attraction for all bad cops, thugs and government agency to extort you.

I do not stay for more than six months at a place in Manila as me being too lazy to take girls to a short time hotels...I don't know how many girls i may have pissed off...Just don't wanna risk it there demand for money never ends...Many Indians in loan sharking business are being killed every year in Ph.

I believe its money more than sex that matters in PH...Filipinos don't much care about their girls sleeping around as they have slept with them all and they keep the best anyways..They give us the unwanted ones, that filipinos don't like ..I'm Indian and I have not felt any bad vibes from Filipino on women...but In terms of money....I could feel it..even though I'm not rich...I live in a good place to avoid trash vibe...The majority of sex tourist, tourist are killed for money more than their lifestyle.

Generally speaking, what your saying is true. Lots of Filipinos make a living scamming and robbing stupid foreigners and each other. The worst thing that happened to me was a woman that worked at Philippine airlines tried over charge me $200, she was not successful. Also, saw a guy get shot to death in my driveway. However, you can successfully navigate the country if your careful. Here's my recommendations.

1. Avoid dating young Filipinas
2. Avoid hookers
3. Avoid getting mad and yelling
4. Avoid getting drunk at night
5. Avoid areas with high illegal drug use (Carbon market in Cebu City)
6. Avoid cock fights, fiestas and gambling(too many drunk guys)
7. Use a money belt or wallet that hangs around your neck
8. Get your Filipina to buy things that do not have a price tag
9. Avoid areas that have NPA(New Peoples Army, Masbate, Bohol, Zamboanga)
10. Find a mature Filipina girlfriend you can trust

If you do everything on this list you won't have a lot of fun in the Philippines but at least you'll be safe.

When you lose your passport, bank card, credit cards or end up in jail with no bail you'll be freaking out for sure. I've lived in the Philippines so I know the risks.

You seem to be wise and seem to have good advice.

Two youtube vlogers from America in Philippines .Reekey from Life beyond the sea and Travis Craft were both Robbed. If you watch their videos, they know everything that we are talking about and they give advice on how to avoid being scammed and robbed and yet they got robbed twice...

They were living in quite good place and don't bar hop or date around...they are decent guys who don't go to nightlife etc....We just need to keep our guard up, girls or no girls...cant trust no body

Most foreigners actively seek out sluts because they want sex on the first date and then try to turn the slut into a girlfriend which rarely works. Sluts release less oxytocin when they have sex which is why they can't emotionally bond with just one guy.

I know some Americans that lived in Bohol and they didn't have any problems with the NPA so its generally safe. However, I was told by a Filipino friend the NPA operates there.
