Here is another great new video by Darryl Sloan where he explains to a Christian why ethics and morality can have meaning and purpose without the need for a God. The Christian had argued that morality is meaningless without a deity, which reflected his brainwashed mind. Darryl makes a lot of really good points in this one. He is one of the most genuine freethinkers out there.

I agree that morals don't necessarily need a deity. Many Traditional Eastern Religions are Atheistic but they teach morals and have strong traditions. Theism is closely linked to creationism and the afterlife. Morals and tradition can be shared by both Theist and Atheistic religions. The problem is that Liberal Atheism which is commonly seen in the Western World like America is more about anti-morals (moral relativism), anti-traditional, and anti-religion (attacking people who believe).

The problem is most idiots need the fear of God to act morally and ethically.

Somehow I doubt St Peter will accept that explanation.
