I just watched this inspiring documentary <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yf30wjrgzM8>.

I had read about Georgia Muller, the man who opened so many orphan homes in Bristol in the 1800's. He wouldn't ask for money or tells his needs. He'd pray, and get answers to his prayers. Sometimes, the kids would sit down and be ready to eat, and someone would knock on the door and bring in the food he'd prayed for to feed the children.

Once it was foggy and his boat was going to be delayed. He prayed with the captain for the fog to clear up. It cleared up. He could just know when his prayer would be answered. He kept a kind of accounting ledger of his prayers, and ticked them off when they were answered.

Thousands of orphans were saved from growing up on the streets in that Charles Dickons-esque era. DIckens even visited those orphanages and was impressed with them.
