Was just re-reading these threads and saw your response.

I'm 6 foot three, longlimbed, and squinty-eyed like a viking. Dark brown hair but beard grows out red, like someone from Cornwall. Long head, high forehead. Younger, they said I looked like Christopher Reeve, nowadays I get John Goodman.

So most would say I look all-American. (Maybe an Ashkhenazic Jew.)

Which is so weird because I really get along much better with Armenians. (And with exiles and misfits from many nations.)

Tried to blend and be more all-American (and Southern) for many years, but in the end you have got to accept yourself.
