Packing tips for men going to Europe.

Holy cow. Check out this video where Sarah Murdoch (Rick Steves' assistant tour guide) shows you how she packs a ton of stuff into one medium sized backpack. I didn't know this was possible. She uses a packing cube too, which seems to compress the clothes if you roll them up. Her backpack seems like the TARDIS in Doctor Who, bigger on the inside than on the outside. lol. Check out all the clothes she put in her backpack as she unfolds them from out of the backpack below. You will be stunned. It's like she's doing a magic trick.

Wow check out these packing cubes on Walmart's website. These are popular with women and seem to save space in your luggage and compress the clothes. I don't know how or why, but supposedly they do. Does anyone know how? Anyway you can get a whole set of packing cubes for $15 from Walmart's site. Here are their best selling ones:

What you do is just pack a carry on with the things you will need for a few days. That way you don't have to pick up your bag(s) at the carousel. Then when you arrive at your destination you buy the things you need. This may sound more expensive, but you will save on checked baggage fees which should offset your purchases.

If you need to return home, you ask a buddy if you can store your things on their balcony or in their closet. If they are a true friend they will let you that.

You can also donate the things you don't need to charity.
