Would this hurt or should I be okay?
I have an issue with my hand... likely relating to my current illness (infection). I assume it is a really tender, sometimes painful cyst slowly filling with fluid. Obviously, that should be helping to keep whatever is there confined, at least for now. If it is certain infections, I would want a doctor (abroad) to manage my treatment. But I am seriously thinking that maybe I should actually stick a needle like that partway into my hand (not through it like she did) to drain whatever it is that is there.
She stuck a needle completely through her hand.
But I will wait to try to get answers and tests abroad.

Wtf? No obviously you shouldn't do this.
Please just wait until a professional can look at the situation. You don't know what you're doing and if you try to do something that people are required to train themselves for years to do the chances that you will botch it are extremely high.

I didn't actually mean I would do what she did or right away. I would give it 6-9 months to try to get diagnostic work and treatment for whatever it is I have. I wouldn't be aiming to go through my hand, just 33%-50% deep.Outcast9428 wrote: ↑July 11th, 2021, 1:10 amWtf? No obviously you shouldn't do this.

I don't have a permanent place in the world where I actually live.
I can't afford to be in the US (and with medical issues, anywhere in the world means a tight budget).
I likely can't afford surgeries if I need any in Mexico.
I need to get a rental contract in Italy for a national healthcare card or at least get registered as an EU resident of Italy. I can afford rent better at an affordable place in Sicilian than anywhere in America, but I don't actually know the language to make phonecalls. Mexico has translators.
Then there's Covid-19, making everything difficult.
I honestly knew early on the US would be essentially worthless for diagnostic work.
I actually read on the CDC website, for example, any diagnostic tests for Gnathostomiasis can't be done anywhere in the US, and they actually tell people to try to go to Thailand if they need to get diagnostic work for Gnathostomiasis... honestly, it is completely unacceptable.
To wait three weeks to one month for a few test results in the US is also unacceptable.
If I have Sparganosis, then at this post, a surgeon would need to probably open half the width of my hand to attempt to remove it. If I have one in my bicep muscle then it is likely inoperable because it would destroy the entire muscle at this point as well as left arm joint, making me a total cripple for life and I don't have servants to carry luggage, groceries, and open things like wine bottles, jars, and tin only because I can't actually afford a servant.
If it is something else then they only need to open certain spots but not as large as if it were Sparganosis.
I am going to hopefully take everything on this list overtime. I already had two on the list in the US, plus one of the drugs before it became at least $1500 a pill in the US... most of the things on this list aren't even covered by any US government insurance, not that I could actually get a prescription for it in the US.
1. Praziquantel aka Biltricide (has a unique name in Mexico)
2. Diethylcarbamazine
3. Doxycycline (antibiotic, which has a use in some treatments for parasites by rendering them sterile)
4. Ivermectin (been on it)
5. Albendazole (been on it)
6. Mebendazole (been on it once a long time ago before it became $1500+ a pill extortion in the US)
Doctors stick needles into people all the time and all it causes is a pinch. I can wait but not more than six months and not if certain spots have too much pain. I also can't afford every diagnostic test I want and there's no way I could afford surgery in Mexico. I really need to get some sort of international medical insurance if it is affordable.

33%-50% deep is really deep. I'm sorry to hear that you're in such a bind, I'm wishing you the best of luck. It seems to me like Italy is the best option.

I am in a bind but I really don't have any good options.Outcast9428 wrote: ↑July 11th, 2021, 5:25 pm33%-50% deep is really deep. I'm sorry to hear that you're in such a bind, I'm wishing you the best of luck. It seems to me like Italy is the best option.
Every option has a downside but the United States has the most downside with nothing to actually gain and I won't ever get taken seriously.
Honestly, Mexico is my best option because of:
1. Ability to reset the visa
2. No Covid-19 travel restrictions
3. Close to a US city so if I needed something expensive (not related to parasites), I could easily get treatment in the US. Hypothetically, say I got cancer, the only nations I could actually get treatment are the US or Italy, and Italy would likely be better only because I could walk to grocery stores.
4. Enough beautiful girls that I could probably get one
5. Appear to be more open and interested in romance and starting a family than Americans. Most girls might also have property in their family or their own home, so I could stay with one if I wanted to get any slut and use her to help me out of a bind. Anywhere I go, paying for shelter with cost a minimum of $400 every month.
I am honestly thinking about getting an ultrasound of my heart. It has been feeling weird since everything started.
I honestly feel terrible almost all the time but I am going abroad for a girl, to be taken seriously, and so I can treat myself while I await actual treatment.

Yes, it would hurt. And there is a good chance this is a trick and she did not really stick a needle through her hand.
