Anyone know of a good non-American news website?

Post by Guyver »

American media in general is full of shit and biased liberal feminazi run crap, and I don't want to read any of it. Does any know of a good website or other type of source where I can read up on the news and current events that won't sugarcoat the facts?

Russia Today and Russia Today America is pretty good. You can find their channel on youtube. Some people have accused them of being "anti-American," but they're not afraid to show the ugly side of the United States and Western countries. Just don't expect the same criticism levied against the Russian government because they partially own the channel.

The best is Al-Jazeera in English. Don't let the name fool you, it is very westernized and they hired several former CNN anchors. It is not radical or anti-American, just somewhat more objective.

I view Jeff Rense's rense.com website about once a week. I've never had to read up on "the news" ever since. Tells me all I need to know, plus if you listen to his radio show (it's free for low quality sound, but you have to pay for better quality), you'll get a lot of rude awakenings.

IMO, Jeff tells it like it is. Of course some of his advertised products seem fishy(you can buy ad space on his site), but I never bought that stuff anyway. :)

Quite right- Al-Jazeera in English can be very useful, as well as the London Daily Mail, Bangkok Post, Jerusalem Post, The Philippines Daily Inquirer,
but probably the BEST for a look into the non-English speaking world is WWW.WorldCrunch.com , a collection of translated non-english news stories.
Check it out- it's excellent!

Thank you, guys, for all the answers. I will check out each one of those links. Nice to have something different to read for a change.

Al Jazeera and Russia Today is Jew garbage. No real difference between them and mainstream news in North America or Europe. At least Al Jazeera is more professional, they hire journalists with experience, with British accents, and don't have people like Alex Jones as regular guests. I don't really read the news, don't see the point, but there are some very good online papers and blogs out there. It's hard to appreciate how much the media is controlled until you are given a glimpse into the other side of the story.

I personally would vouch for RT. In addition to having great guests on and great news, their documentaries are really good . Also, lewrockwell.com and infowars.com are two good alternative news sources. Both of the hosts often appear on RT.

I get my news mainly from RT, Al jazeera english, and the daily mail. But the bottomline is you can't trust 1 single source. I generally scan numerous news sources and then decide what is most likely to be the truth of each issue based on comparisons and cross referencing.
