Winston, Regarding your Child Custodial Rights...
Posted: July 5th, 2008, 1:48 am
I've decided to post a reply from a local Filipino attorney regarding child custody. Previously I've told you the same information numerous times in various formats but you don't listen or care to follow-up on what I've already stated. If you have more specific questions contact the lawyer yourself...

There are many questions to be answered. The most important answers are as follows:
1. The child is both a Filipino and a US citizen.
2. The mother has custody of the child until the child is aged seven. Unless she is disqualified due to insanity, incapability, serious diseases, immorality, etc.
3. The child should be registered in the US Embassy.
4. Both mother and father share in the custody of the child. Both have responsibilities and the right to the custody of the child.
5. Legal remedies can be obtained to force the mother to register the child with the US Embasy.
6. A case study will be conducted to determine who is the best guardian for the child.
Please call me up at my office.
