Most American food is cheap, processed, mass produced in factory farms, or is overpriced because of the American system. Wall Street's COMEX and speculators bid the prices up, transportation costs increase for the same reasons, corporations raise the prices on fuel and products because they need to have increasing revenues and profits. They don't care that things are becoming overly expensive in America that people can't afford them and hunger is at it's worst in several decades.

The weekly food purchase in Mongolia is mostly natural foods and fresh foods. Buying all those items in America would cost around $120-$150, maybe more if they qualify as organic.

Notice how unhealthy the families living in the Western countries eat--including junk-food items, fast food, and processed garbage--while the non-Westerners eat a lot of meat, fish, and fresh fruits and vegetables, and everything looks clean and organic. The pictures of the families living in the USA is especially embarrassing!
