Russell you should mention that a law is not passed yet... you took a tweet and made it into a passed law. I appreciate your content but you must be clearer on this otherwise this channel will not be just an opportunity for free speach but a channel where people rise their anxiety and victimhood. If I am wrong about it, pelase share the law that currently passed. I am unvaccinated and censured a lot for what I shared but I also want to make sure that what I share has a fundamental base and is not just a suspicion. I agree that even a draft of this law should not be in place at all but when a draft is addressed as a passed law, then I have to call for review and addressing it properly

That is actually untrue. The law has nothing to do with vaccines, I read it in French, I am French. It has to do with the new gurus spreading in France who advice, say a cancer patient, to abandon chemotherapy for celery salad, therefore putting the patient willingly in mortal danger. Come on Russel, you're better than this. Do your research next time. And it has been booted by the conseil constitutionnel (kinda like a French supreme court) in 2020 because of the objections that you're talking about.

TOKYO -- Japan has discarded some 13.5 million doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine as all of the remaining shots supplied by the British pharmaceutical company have expired, the health ministry announced on Sept. 30.
Japan is officially ending the administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The Japanese government agreed in December 2020 to buy 120 million coronavirus vaccine doses from AstraZeneca. According to sources including the health ministry, only 200,000 doses have been shipped to local governments and 120,000 doses have been administered.
Japan has since canceled a contract for 62.3 million doses, and of the already acquired supply, it gave some 44 million doses to other countries free of charge. The remaining doses have been thrown out.
Based on the confidentiality agreement with the drug maker, the government has not disclosed the purchase price or how much they will be refunded for the canceled doses.
The AstraZeneca vaccine was once the world frontrunner to be put to practical use, but outside Japan, there were rare cases of blood clots as a side effect. Distribution in Japan was sluggish, as the government limited administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine to those aged 40 and older.
Many of my family members took 7 shots but only by Pfizer/Moderna, side effects were all gone within 2 to 3 days. TOKYO — Japan has canceled the purchase of about 40 million AstraZeneca Plc COVID-19 vaccine doses it agreed to buy last year, a health ministry official said in parliament on Monday.
The contract allowed the government to cancel a portion of the supply if it was unneeded, the official said in response to lawmakers’ questioning. Japan had originally agreed to buy 120 million of the shots, with the bulk made domestically by Daiichi Sankyo Co. and other local partners.
About 200,000 AstraZeneca doses have been supplied to local governments in Japan, while 63 million doses have donated overseas, the official added.
Japan has predominantly relied on the mRNA-type vaccines developed by Pfizer Inc and Moderna Inc for its COVID inoculations and boosters so far.
