Exciting last day of English Premeirship football!

Normally, I avoid posting sports related topics since I think most of it's for brainless sheep's, but I have to admit--it was certainly entertaining day in English football:

I was in Paris on leave from the U.S. military air base in the U.K.., when France won the World Cup in 1998. Man, it was unbelievable--the tears, passion, and love everyone had for each other and for being French. Massive crowds walking through the Champs-Elysees waving French flags and even embracing clueless American's that had no clue what football was! You'll never see something like that in the U.S. that's for sure--considering how divided we are as a people and how commercialized sports has become in the United States...
